vpn.fish is a new VPN provider but offers encryption standards that are at par with the major players in the VPN market. With vpn.fish’s AES-256 bit encryption, your online activities will be practically un-hackable. On the other hand, vpn.fish is located in Hong Kong. While it’s not in China’s jurisdiction, it’s still a little too close for comfort.

It has a 7-day money back guarantee and a 30-day free trial, after which you can choose from one of their four pricing plans, all of which are really reasonable. The amount you would save by choosing a longer-term plan aren’t huge, so you won’t be sacrificing too much if you don’t want to commit.

You can use vpn.fish on up to six devices simultaneously with only one license. This means you can save further on their already cheap plans.

Since vpn.fish is a fairly new provider, it doesn’t yet have a large network. That said, for many, 12 servers in nine countries should be enough, since most people will likely just want to connect to the US servers.

The servers are located in the US, UK, Germany, Switzerland, Netherlands, Tunisia, Singapore, Indonesia, and Japan.

A limiting factor for vpn.fish is that it is only available for iOS, which means if you want to run a VPN on your laptop, desktop, or Android, this isn’t the VPN for you.

They don’t have a live chat facility but you can email them at support@vpn.fish and they’ll reply within 1-2 business days.

While they claim that they don’t keep any logs, they don’t have a privacy policy, which might be alarming for some users. However, since they are new, it’s possible that they’ll formulate and publish a policy in the near future. If you don’t want to wait around though, check out some other VPN providers.

Since it’s a new VPN, there are no ratings in the app store yet. However, with its speedy service vpn.fish has the potential to grow.

The Bottom Line

Low prices, good speeds, but available only on iPhone.

If you want to secure all your devices, this isn’t the right VPN for you. With just 12 servers in 9 countries, it’s not the biggest but since the prices are super low, it’s a decent bargain.

VPN.FISH Disappointed

I'm new to VPN. I tried vpn.fish on an old amazon fire plus tablet. I had left my location for google on. I thought vpn sends your info encrypted so that if you choose San Francisco or Paris your ought not get an ad from your local mall. I did.
