Yoga VPN Review & Test (2024) - Why It's NOT For Everyone

Our Score: 6.3/10
Ranked 176th out of 305 VPNs

YogaVPN is great for anyone with operating and Android device, past that it won't have what you need. Unlike most premium services, YogaVPN is strictly available as an Android app in the Google Play Store.

This might get you worried about your privacy, but they have an outstanding policy for that as well. They have no logging, you do not need to sign up, and no credit card information is needed. On top of this the app is 100% free.

YogaVPN can be used to unblock any blocked websites or apps, so it is the ideal solution for a student who wants to bypass their school’s firewall. UDP/TCP is used to encrypt your data, so your browsing is 100% anonymous as well. They claim to have passed the DNS Leak test, which would ideally hide your IP and replace with a different IP address, but we’re still confirming this. (You can test out any IP Leak with our .)They have also passed the DNS leak test, so your IP is hidden and replaced with a fake IP. You can access VPN severs in various new parts of the world like India, Australia, Bulgaria, Netherlands, USA, Japan, Singapore, Canada, France, Germany and the UK.

The installation process is incredibly straightforward. All you need to do is download the app onto your phone and choose the desired country to access the app. Once done, you can freely browse the web with your IP and location concealed, granting you unrestricted access to all applications and websites.

Because the app is free, a payment method is not required, so your credit card information is protected.

They have an email address for support, but there is no other way to get in touch with them. They do not have a FAQ or a phone number you can call. Although support is generally considered to be all right, it can take some time for you to receive help.

Overall this app works well and does as it says, and since it doesn’t cost anything, we can’t really complain. It hides your IP and your location, and it has a no log policy. Definitely an ideal Android solution for beginners as you do not need to change any settings or go through a complicated set-up process. The only downside is that it’s only available on Android devices (sorry iPhone users), but it’s still a great option if you want to be anonymous or protect yourself when using public Wi-Fi.

Unfortunately, YogaVPN can't unblock Netflix or any other streaming services. To find a VPN that can bypass these geoblocks, check out our best VPNs for Netflix.

DNS leak info in the article/review is wrong...

DNS leaks on every connection that I have tested via browser leaks.com. I can connect to some servers, but nothing works, not even their built-in Google test. Their privacy claims cannot be verified.

Not sure where you are getting your info

Yoga VPN has been available on both IOS both iPhone and iPad for over a year. So interesting this article was recently updated this year and still does not have accurate data. Love that it's free etc. but it's very slow! Takes an incredible amount of time to download 1 movie. It can work with Netflix, Amazon prime, etc. too (that also is not accurate above) but you have to keep checking different USA options to do so. Often the USA options labeled "stable" are not recognized by Prime or Netflix. When I use even the 3200 coins Fast USA VPN usually the sites recognize that I am using a VPN. So although I love the ease of use and the option to watch ads to 'pay' for use...it is just so slow that I am now looking into paid options.

It's free, it's fast, it works!!!!

Everything you would expect from a vpn server, and the great thing about it, it's very easy to use! Every dumbass can make it work! You can choose your level of encryption by earning points, these points are very easy to get, simply by turning a wheel of fortune, or watching an ad. The only downside, it does not support p2p (popcorn time) or bittorrent, they have a clear policy about that..
