CyberGhost is one of the most affordable VPNs on the market — you can get a subscription for as low as $2.29/month. I sometimes assume that price indicates quality, but with VPNs, I've been proven wrong before. So I wanted to see whether CyberGhost can really deliver at such a low price. I did a deep dive into CyberGhost’s privacy policy and security measures to determine whether it’s secu...

VPN Leaks

I have used Cyberghost for 3 years and experienced 4 identity leaks in that time when I thought I was ... protected. Since then (about a year ago) I only use the "optimized for P2P" servers and have not had a problem. The kill switch seems to work as intended. I can't understand how the leaks happened because the kill switch was enabled all the time.More

Not functioning on my laptop & support is useless

Despite numerous back-and-forth emails with the support, they haven't managed to get it to work or eve... n install it on one of my computers. It worked ok on the machines. They never acknowledged their software was buggy, instead, they tried to convince me I have an issue with the laptop. They also refused to provide a refund. Absolutely unprofessional.More

BulletVPN is another service in a crowded market, and it makes some bold claims. Its website says it can unblock all the top streaming platforms, along with offering fast speeds for buffer-free streaming. There’s a ton of competition out there, and BulletVPN’s plans are all quite expensive, so is it worth the price? To find the answer, I tested its speeds, streaming capabilities, security ...

They force their DNS on wireguard

Used to use bulletvpn till I discovered they do force their DNS on their customers! Do a DNS leak test...  after setting up any free DNS, and you will find out they force it all through them! I contacted their customer support regarding this issue a month ago, and they replied with the usual " Will get back to you ". They do it at least with their Wireguard connections, did not test OVPN yet, but this practice does tell you a lot about who you should trust with your data! I believe this should be investigated since it contradicts their SLA and privacy policy.More

The Bottom Line

Final Verdict: A Safe and Extremely User-Friendly VPN Ideal for Streaming CyberGhost offers incredibly user-friendly apps that make accessing streaming sites from around the world really easy. Just search for the platform you want to access and CyberGhost will give you a server made to unblock it. Plus, if you ever have trouble accessing your favorite service, its support staff is super helpful and can be reached 24/7. When it comes to security, it stands out from other VPNs with its NoSpy servers. It also protects your data with military-grade encryption and features like its automatic kill switch. Independent audits, transparency reports, and a strong privacy policy also let you know CyberGhost can be trusted with your data. It does have a few downsides. Even with its gaming servers, it’s not a great VPN for online competitive play, and it doesn’t work in restrictive countries like China. I would recommend
