Which VPN is better?

ExpressVPN and CyberGhost are two VPN services that enjoy immense popularity — but which one is the better pick for you?

It’s all about the small details here, because both VPNs cover the basics flawlessly. Privacy is spotless — both ExpressVPN and CyberGhost have transparent, well-written zero-logs policies. The former is located in the British Virgin Islands and has proven its promise of complete anonymity in the past. The latter is headquartered in Romania — a country with a solid track record of protecting personal privacy.

Let’s talk specifics: ExpressVPN is seriously fast and has an arsenal of features to improve your experience. CyberGhost comes close in terms of speed, but its true appeal lies in the brilliant profile-based interface — and its features are on point as well.

Lastly, both VPNs have legit money-back guarantees: ExpressVPN has a 30-day policy, while CyberGhost offers you a generous 45-day period to make up your mind. Add responsive customer support, reliable access to Netflix, and stealth protocols for the Great Firewall of China, and the choice becomes even more difficult — we’ll have to go deeper.

 The Bottom Line

ExpressVPN and CyberGhost are two amazing VPNs — so amazing, in fact, the final decision is often related to your budget. ExpressVPN is pricey, and even though you can reduce the cost with one of its great deals, CyberGhost is still the cheaper alternative that does a splendid job — just not as fast. All in all, ExpressVPN is the better and much faster service, but also the bigger financial investment. It’s definitely worth it, but if you can’t justify the price tag, you won’t be disappointed in CyberGhost.
