ExpressVPN and Celo VPN are both known for their support for torrents, robust security, ease-of-use, and most especially for their high-quality customer service. ExpressVPN is a more substantial service with more than 2,000 servers; it employs military-grade encryption and has the ability to break most geoblocks. It’s also among the fastest VPNs out there and provides a 30-day money-back guarantee. Celo VPN meets high security, performance, and malware blocker requirements, but customers are most appreciative of its support service as well as its 10-day money-back guarantee. Celo VPN includes protocols, such as WireGuard VPN servers and DDoS protection. All of Celo VPN’s plans include support for six connections at a time, while ExpressVPN supports five devices at a time. Both companies have a strict no-logs policy and offer malware protections. ExpressVPN is one of the most popular and trusted names in the industry. It’s known for being one of the safest, fastest VPNs around, so I wanted to see if it can live up to these claims. It’s not the cheapest VPN, but it often offers discounts that make it a better value for the money. Other decent VPNs offer similar security features for much cheaper. So, do you really need to pay that muc...

I've been an ExpressVPN customer since 2017 and it's been great: quickly connects to a nearby server i... n the Wash DC region, embedded shortcuts to apps I want to use while using VPN, disconnects quickly, has the kill switch feature which is necessary these days, and has a fine mobile app which works well on my Android phones and tablets. However, I was just notified that the annual price is jumping from $99 to $117 upon the next renewal, so it's time to see how the others compare within VPN Mentor.More

    Ok, but expensive

Seems ok, but I wouldn't say it's worth $20AUD a month. That's steep if you live in a backwater like A... ustralia, where the currency is not valuable. Easy enough to set up - you don't need to be Einstein - but unless you're a tech nerd who can take a look under the bonnet, you'll just have to trust what they say about their product. It frequently drops out without the slightest warning, often when it's the only thing online at the time - despite fast and flawless fiber internet, rendering expression entirely useless UNLESS you have it sitting on your desktop where you can keep an eagle eye on it to actually see it when it drops out so you can kick it back into service again (it doesn't do it by itself), which seems to defeat its purpose, so I'm taking away 2 stars for that. Support is good and they do get back to you as fast as they can.More

Today, there are many people who might want to find out what you are doing online or who might want to have access to your data. Hackers, the government, spammers, and your own ISP might be trying to gain access to your information or log what you are doing online. This is no way to live, and Celo.net agrees. The company’s goal is to provide Internet users with the freedom to go where they want...

    Above expectation vpn

I bought it during lifetime promotion, I think it was when celo.net was just started in the business. ... At first, I found many troubles connecting to their servers but eventually, things are getting better and today it is so easy to connect. What amazed me was when I check for a leak, they really cover it nicely. Makes me feel safe in surfing the grey and dark area. Good job for the celo.net team.More

    Best VPN by Category

    Best VPN Overall

Celo VPN has just 16 servers across 13 countries, which all allow torrents and support ad and malware blocking. Its customer service is phenomenal, but we couldn’t get access to US Netflix – though some users report they can. ExpressVPN, on the other hand, gives you a large set of servers with the highest number servers in the US among VPN services. ExpressVPN also offers reliable speeds and top-of-the-line protection against leaks.

    Best VPN for Torrents

ExpressVPN supports torrenting on all of its servers. You can also torrent on all of Celo VPN's servers, plus it comes with plenty of tutorials.

    Best VPN for Windows

Celo VPN’s Windows client has strong encryption, no logging, Shadowsocks, and SOCKS5 support at an affordable price. It’s worth noting that Celo VPN’s kill switch is limited to Windows 7 and 10. Meanwhile, ExpressVPN delivers reliability to Windows with a highly secure app, kill switch, fast speeds, and a user-friendly design.

    Best VPN for Android

The Celo VPN works well with many different Android devices as well as the Amazon Fire TV Stick, with some additional protection against malware. ExpressVPN provides a reliable system with advanced leak protection and wi-fi security to help you safely stream content from anywhere.

    Best VPN for Mac

Celo VPN’s Mac clients offers free DDoS protection, OpenVPN support, unlimited downloads, and total torrent support for up to six simultaneous connections. ExpressVPN has a popular Mac client that users say is easy to navigate and includes a strong encryption with no traffic limits or logs.

    Best VPN for iOS

Celo VPN for iOS devices requires the OpenVPN Connect app to get started and then you can manually connect to servers that are secure and reliable, so the process takes a little longer. If you want to have an easy connect with a one click app, ExpressVPN’s iOS support offers reliable speeds and safety, top encryption, and support.

    Best VPN for USA

Celo VPN performs well for US browsing, but its small selection of US servers has led to some reports of significant slowdowns and we could not bypass Netflix's geoblocks. ExpressVPN, on the other hand, has one of the most US servers we’ve seen, and is well-known for its ability to safely access Netflix, Hulu, HBO, and many more.

    The Bottom Line

ExpressVPN is a strong choice and our winner in this comparison. Each VPN is popular with users and employs some of the best security features, with Celo VPN adding in some additional protections for free. Both are user-friendly and intuitive, with robust knowledge bases to help solve many issues you may come across. However, ExpressVPN takes a commanding lead thanks to offering significantly more servers, consistently getting around geoblocks from Netflix and others, and the fact that its kill switch works on all platforms (Celo’s is limited to Windows). While Celo supports more simultaneous connections — six compared to ExpressVPN’s three — that isn’t enough to overcome ExpressVPN’s offering or support.
