iPredator Review & Test 2020- Keep This in Mind Before Buying

Are you worried that the government might be watching everything you do on the web and tracking your site visits? It’s not being paranoid when it’s true! Many countries around the world, including the US, are guilty of this, so getting a VPN service, such as iPredator, (or our #1 recommended VPN, NordVPN) is a great option. The iPredator service can keep you safe online. Let’s learn more about why we recommend this VPN.

iPredator adds an encrypted tunnel from your computer to the Internet, and this can help to increase your safety substantially. The data that leaves your computer will be encrypted so hackers, thieves, and government agencies can’t read it. In fact, when you are online, it won’t even show your real IP address. It will appear as though you are accessing the web from another country entirely. iPredator provides other useful tools like Tor server, IM messaging service and web proxies.

But can it unblock streaming sites? Well, no. We were disappointed to find that iPredator can’t access Netflix. If you’re looking for a secure VPN that will let you stream, try NordVPN. It’s super-secure and can unblock 140+ streaming services from all over the world.

The service works with Mac OSX, Linux, and Windows devices. You can connect two machines at the same time. If you want to connect more, you may need to use connection sharing. Another option is to choose a router that supports OpenVPN.

It is generally very easy to get started with the system. They do not place any caps on the speed, so if you normally have a fast connection, you should still have a fast connection when you are going through the VPN.

Free Trial and Packages

You can choose a trial account if you are still unsure. These accounts are good for three days. First, you need to sign up and create a password and username, and then you can get your trial. You could also go through the support chat to get the trial. During the trial, you will have a chance to see just how good iPredator is, and then you can choose a service.

They have prepaid plans for one, three, six, and 12 months, as well as monthly service if you prefer. When you pay, you can use bitcoin, PayPal, OK Pay, Payza, or Payson.

Support and Help

The iPredator site is very simple to use and understand, and you shouldn’t have any trouble finding what you need. This includes the help page. If you have an issue, you will find a wealth of ways to get in touch with the company. You can check out their blog and twitter, and read their FAQ. You can also get in touch with the support team. They can provide you with help for your issues. They tend to respond very quickly.

As you can see, there are plenty of good reasons to use iPredator. We’ve found it to be a good service overall, and it is fast and reliable.

But, we don’t think it’s quite up to the standards of our top-rated VPNs yet. You can get better security features, higher speeds, and access to Netflix with a premium VPN, like NordVPN.

Been using their service for years. Frequent disconnects in Windows disappeared when I started using a proper VPN client. All the info you need to make it work is in their FAQ. Check out their guides, too. The how-to section about using Bitcoins is worth reading if you are not familiar with the topic.

Has been close to a week since I've been able to connect. Their IRC chat gives no answers (everyone basically just sits there and says nothing), nothing in the blog area for nearly a year and a half, and emailing support will not get a response. Not too happy.

Works great though is it - 8

I have been using iPredator for a while and have had few issues. It is a great service. However, lately I have been seeing reoccurring DNS issues and long connection times. Visiting the support IRC channel, which used to be a nice and lively place for discussions, rarely produces any responses. Emailing the support, which also previously worked flawlessly, has not generated any feedback in months. Communication outlets such as Twitter has been silent and there has been no recent development on the NetSplice client. As great as the service is I am getting increasingly worried regarding using the service as I rarely see any signs of life from the people behind the scenes. This review was for 2020 so was curious, have you reached out to the people running the service and received any response?
