    CyberGhost does not connect automatically in pc when I connect online. Why? And on my phone (Android)...  it sometimes gets stuck, it does not open the app when vpn is working. I have to connect the VPN in my phone settings first. That is pretty annoying.More

    Be very careful

    Once I had finally managed to download this with help from the tech desk - watching was painful. It bu... ffers and stops continually. You really have to want to watch a programme to bear with it. Then I got a renewal notice 3 days before I was charged. By the time I came around to dealing with cancelling my subscription- some 6 days later I had already been charged for 2021. So I have disputed this payment saying I am happy to pay for 6 days but not for a year - that I am not going to use and of course they don’t want to know. Be aware! They are now saying I can use the service until 4 Oct 2021 when I have cancelled and don’t want to. Wouldn’t recommend - who gives you 3 days notice to cancel a subscription? Without a CANCEL NOW button. ??? Good companies give you the very minimum of 7 days if not a months notice. Not this company !!’More

Independent audits, transparency reports, and a strong privacy policy also let you know CyberGhost can be trusted with your data. The only real downsides are the slower speeds on connections more than 10,000 km away (which is normal for most VPNs) and the fact that it’s not a good option for use in China.
