CyberGhost and VPN Proxy Master are comparable in price, but I think one of them gives you better value for money.

They are similar in a lot of ways though. Both VPNs gave me great results on my speed tests, with the only disappointment being slightly slower speeds on long-distant servers.

They also have similarly strong security methods. Each VPN uses military-grade encryption, kill switches, and automatic WiFi protection.

CyberGhost pulls ahead when it comes to streaming though, thanks to its specialized streaming-optimized servers. I was able to access my accounts on Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime Video, BBC iPlayer, and more. VPN Proxy Master could only unblock Netflix US, Amazon Prime Video, and Peacock TV.

That's why CyberGhost was the overall winner. But VPN Proxy Master also performed well in some areas, with easy apps and a great free trial period.

CyberGhost is one of the most affordable VPNs on the market — you can get a subscription for as low as $2.19/month. I sometimes assume that price indicates quality, but with VPNs, I've been proven wrong before. So I wanted to see whether CyberGhost can really deliver at such a low price. I did a deep dive into CyberGhost’s privacy policy and security measures to determine whether it’s secu...

Great interface and is very intuitive. Many locations with reasonably fast speeds. There are a lot of ... essential features I like as well. Wireguard, Wifi Protect, Etc. I took out the 2-year plan at a fair discount so I can say that, given the price, it's a decent balance of quantity and quality.More

    Pretty good

CyberGhost does not connect automatically in pc when I connect online. Why? And on my phone (Android)...  it sometimes gets stuck, it does not open the app when vpn is working. I have to connect the VPN in my phone settings first. That is pretty annoying.More

VPN Proxy Master is a decent VPN. Its speeds are good, its privacy policy is reassuring, and its applications are efficient. Not to mention that its server network is massive, and its security features are comprehensive (on desktop at least). However, there are a few areas in which VPN Proxy Master falls short. This VPN routinely fails to work with streaming sites, and its mobile app lacks som...

    Best VPN by Category

    Best VPN Overall

CyberGhost is better because it's more reliable for bypassing geoblocks. While both providers helped me access some of the top streaming platforms, CyberGhost unblocked every single platform I tested. CyberGhost also gives you more for your money, including bonus features like split tunneling, app protection, and a built-in blocker for ads, trackers, and malware.

    Best VPN for Torrents

CyberGhost is better because it has incredible speeds for file sharing, and offers users multiple optimized servers for P2P activities in locations around the world. VPN Proxy Master does allow torrenting and has 4 specialized torrenting servers in Canada, USA, Germany, and the Netherlands. However, it doesn’t have a no-logs policy so I can’t recommend it for torrents.

    Best VPN for Windows

CyberGhost is better because its user-friendly Windows app has more features and is easier to use than VPN Proxy Master. It supports split tunneling, allowing you more control over how the VPN works with your other Windows apps. It also comes with Privacy Guard, which allows you to manage all of your Windows privacy settings at once.

    Best VPN for Android

CyberGhost is better because it has better security on its app, and a cleaner interface. VPN Proxy Master doesn’t have WiFi protection or DoH on its mobile apps. Both CyberGhost and VPN Proxy Master are easy to install, but CyberGhost has the edge thanks to additional Android-compatible features like split tunneling and ad-blocking.

    Best VPN for Mac

CyberGhost is better because its macOS apps have the same features as Windows, while VPN Proxy Master's app is very basic. CyberGhost for Mac supports split tunneling and is protected by an automatic kill switch.

    Best VPN for iOS

CyberGhost is better though mostly becaus VPN Proxy Master's mobile apps are extremely basic. CyberGhost's iOS app lacks some features too, like split tunneling and ad-blocking. However, you can get a Private Browser addon for iPhone and iPad and a Photo Vault feature that keeps your media secure.

    Best VPN for USA

CyberGhost is better because it's much more reliable for unblocking US content. It has hundreds of US servers in 11 locations, and helped me access my accounts on Netflix US, Disney+, Hulu, HBO Max, ESPN, Sling TV, and more. VPN Proxy Master struggles with US streaming platforms. For example, it couldn't unblock Hulu, HBO Max, or ESPN during my tests.

    The Bottom Line

Both CyberGhost and VPN Proxy Master have a lot going for them. Both are strong on security and speed. However, CyberGhost is my overall winner thanks to its reliable server network and superior unblocking abilities.

You can even get CyberGhost for as little as $2.19/month with its latest deal, making it even better value for money. If you're still unsure, you can use CyberGhost's 45-day money-back guarantee to test it out for free.
