ExpressVPN is one of the most popular and trusted names in the industry. It’s known for being one of the safest, fastest VPNs around, so I wanted to see if it can live up to these claims. It’s not the cheapest VPN, but it often offers discounts that make it a better value for the money. Other decent VPNs offer similar features for less in the long term. So, do you really need to pay that much...

    Ok, but expensive

Seems ok, but I wouldn't say it's worth $20AUD a month. That's steep if you live in a backwater like A... ustralia, where the currency is not valuable. Easy enough to set up - you don't need to be Einstein - but unless you're a tech nerd who can take a look under the bonnet, you'll just have to trust what they say about their product. It frequently drops out without the slightest warning, often when it's the only thing online at the time - despite fast and flawless fiber internet, rendering expression entirely useless UNLESS you have it sitting on your desktop where you can keep an eagle eye on it to actually see it when it drops out so you can kick it back into service again (it doesn't do it by itself), which seems to defeat its purpose, so I'm taking away 2 stars for that. Support is good and they do get back to you as fast as they can.More

Cloudflare’s WARP is a VPN add-on for its 1.1.1.1 DNS resolver (a free app that handles your DNS queries to make your connection faster). WARP essentially protects your traffic with encryption, while 1.1.1.1 optimizes your DNS to give you a faster connection. But can this hybrid approach reliably protect you online? I tested everything WARP offers, including its speeds, security features, cu...

Warp+ is the BEST DDOS protection for console gaming!

Booter on Xbox live network has been an issue for me for a long time. I’ve even had times where I’ve h... ad to unplug my router to prevent overheating due to the sheer volume of attack power I was getting hit with. There are some toxic losers that will pay 100s of dollars a month just so they can cut through other gamers VPNs. What I’ve found with warp is that most traffic monitoring software that booters use fail to pull an ip address associated with my connection. I would only recommend this protection if playing on a game where it’s peer to peer rather than a more modernized encrypted server handling all the traffic for the game. For some reason, in games that the traffic is routed peer to peer, having an inferior connection gives you advantages anyway. I have above average base speeds without the vpn so I hardly notice anything when playing on a P2P game. For less than 5 bucks I’m so glad these toxic losers that spend $100s on their illegal botnets get infuriated when they can’t touch my connection. Now when I hear from other players getting hit offline or a recognized booter shows up in the lobby I no longer leave the session in fear, I go after booters now and do them the most dirty in game to get them riled up, then taunt them. when they can’t boot me offline, it’s so incredibly amusing and worth every penny.More

Latest update blocked Internet access on macOS

I use this successfully on iOS devices with no problems and for some time the desktop version worked w... ell on my iMac. But the latest version caused intermittent problems on the desktop -- I could not connect to the Internet. After completely deleting all Cloudflare files the problem has not recurred but it's too soon to be 100% sure that Warp was the cause of the problem. Now I'm considering alternatives.More

Final Verdict — Reliability, Top Speeds, and Excellent Security Make It Worth the Price Most leading VPNs have a standout feature or a niche appeal, whereas ExpressVPN beats the competition in almost every category. It’s simply the fastest and most reliable service we’ve tested. Its proprietary Lightway protocol is fast and secure, ideal for streaming, and even future-proofed against quantum computing attacks. When it comes to security, ExpressVPN is as safe as it gets. Its military-grade encryption and private DNS servers helped it pass all of my leak tests. On top of that, it has a strict no-logs policy and is headquartered in the privacy-friendly British Virgin Islands. The policy has also been audited, so you know it's trustworthy. The only negative is that it’s slightly more expensive than some other VPNs out there. However, considering its performance and the wealth of features it offers, it’s definitely worth it. Plus,
