Freedom-IP is a French VPN service founded in 2010, but you rarely see its name across the web. If you are French, you might know more about it, as it seems that the service is aimed towards a French audience. Even though Freedom-IP was probably not created strictly with gamers in mind, it’s great for online games because it has a special LowLatency mode that enables improved speed and lower...

Psiphon is a free, open-source, Canadian-born VPN that started as a project to bypass censorship in 2008 at the University of Toronto’s Citizen Lab. Today, Psiphon has grown to become an independent corporation offering VPN and proxy services among digital civil rights groups such as Access Now. It is “a circumvention tool that utilizes VPN, SSH, and HTTP Proxy technology, to provide you w...

    Working in Cuba

My girlfriend is using Psiphon in Cuba and it works even after the internet was cut because of riots. ...  The downside is she cannot send me videos, and we couldn't have video calls, Of course, it is great, as we were worried we could not have any communication these days, and it is good enough for WhatsApp and pictures. Final Verdict I want to be optimistic and say Freedom-IP is a good choice, but I’d be lying. Even though the VPN provides good speeds and might be a good choice for gamers, it can’t unblock streaming sites (except for YouTube). It doesn’t offer many important features you expect from a VPN. Your safety and privacy are not guaranteed. There’s also logging, and you can’t use it for torrenting. They have poor info on the website and even worse support. For me, that’s more than enough to say no, thank you to Freedom-IP. Even the low price is not a good enough reason for me to invest in this VPN.
