With VPNs, you tend to get what you pay for. So when I saw Surfshark’s super low prices (you can get it for just $2.21/month), I was a bit skeptical about its rave reviews. To find out if it actually lives up to these claims, I tested every single aspect of Surfshark, including speeds, security features, unblocking abilities, network reliability, and device compatibility. I also took a cl...

Very good for the price...except the killswitch is not reliable.

I left Surfshark (with the kill-switch engaged) running unattended. When I returned, the SurfShark int... erface was still on, but with an error, stating I needed to log into Surshark. The result: my real IP had been exposed for several hours while I was away. The killswitch apparently disengaged when SurfShark itself glitched out, leaving my sensitive program running without a VPN. This happened twice. (you'd think I'd have learned my lesson after the first time... slapping my head) If your safety or your livelihood is at stake, don't trust software to always run reliably. Don't leave sensitive work running unattended. Just saying. Other than that, I have no problem with Surfshurk. I intend to keep using it.More

No use for Netflix, so-so speeds - you get what you pay for

They have a reasonable variety of servers, but the main reason for which I purchased a subscription wa... s to get access to local Netflix libraries, especially the ones in the UK, France, and Germany. When I purchased a subscription, their website had a list of servers through which one could access local Netflix libraries, including the above. Well, guess what: none of the above works now, even though some reviews claim that you can access many different Netflix libraries with Surfshark. And the BBC iPlayer or the ITV hub also don't work consistently. Bottom line: I have to get another VPN service, and cannot use Surfshark for the purpose for which I purchased it. I have about two years left of my subscription, and they refuse to make a partial refund. That's not cool at all.More

TV When Away was founded in 2012, in Derby England. It provides a VPN using cloud technology for prices that some would find cheap but others would find a bit pricey considering this VPN doesn’t allow torrenting and P2P file-sharing and has servers only in the UK. TV When Away offers VPN, proxy, and SmartDNS services with just one subscription. Their services are mainly used for streaming by...

The worst experience we had ever! Do not try TVWhen Away!

We support Vanessa's post. There is no support or positive desire to help the customers. The same ques... tions were repeated again and again and no real solution. We are very disappointed. We wasted almost three days to write an email to no avail! Do not use TVWhenAway. John SmithMore

Final Verdict — A User-Friendly and All-Round Safe, Reliable VPN I 100% recommend Surfshark. Of all its competitors, it has the best value and provides you with everything a top VPN should: multiple advanced security features, reliable network and speeds, consistent unblocking abilities, and a strong commitment to user privacy and security. I was really impressed with Surfshark’s customer support and its level of transparency while reading over its privacy policy, as well. In addition, one of its greatest selling points is that you can connect an unlimited number of devices simultaneously, making its comparably lower price point even more worth it. However, if you want a VPN with an incredibly reliable network with more global coverage, ExpressVPN is a better choice. I would also recommend CyberGhost if you’re looking for an easy-to-use VPN designed for streaming and torrenting. If you're not convinced if Surfshark's for you, you can check…
