BlackVPN Review & Test 2020- Keep This in Mind Before Buying
When you are looking for a VPN service, you want quality, security, and features. BlackVPN, which is based out of Kowloon, Hong Kong, is able to offer all of those things and more, making it a good choice for many out there in need of a trustworthy VPN. They’ve’ been rated as one of the most reliable and fastest VPN services, and they have 100Mbit and 1000Mbit connections, alongside premium vendors like ExpressVPN. That's where the similarities end. Unlike ExpressVPN, BlackVPN can't reliably unblock Netflix and other popular US streaming services.
One of the biggest concerns people have when they choose a VPN is whether the company logs any of their information or not. With BlackVPN, you never have to worry about logs. They do not have DNS logs, they do not keep traffic logs, and they do not even have connection logs. However, they do keep your email address and your payment history. The company offers servers in a number of different locations all around the world including the United States, Canada, Brazil, Romania, Russia, Ukraine, and Singapore.
When you use BlackVPN, your real IP address will not be shown to the services or sites that you visit and use. All of the traffic is encrypted, which means you do not have to worry about the ISP or the government monitoring your activity on the web.
They also offer a number of different VPN routers including a TV router, privacy router, global router, and single VPN router. You are able to use BlackVPN with a number of different types of operating systems and devices including Windows, Mac, Linux, routers, Android, iOS, pfSense, and Windows Phone. They offer L2TP/IPSec (4), OpenVPN, and PPTP. You are able to use BlackVPN on up to three devices at a single time, and each of those devices can be used to connect to different VPN locations if you choose. While it claims to be unable to unblock Netflix US, the ability to bypass the streaming services IP blockers is inconsistent at best.
The company does not offer a free trial, but they do have a 14-day money back guarantee. It is a no questions asked refund. Simply let the company know, within 14 days, if you need to get a refund. If you have any issues with the service, whether it is during the setup or while you are using it, you can contact their customer support for help.
BlackVPN offers a number of benefits to the users, but they do have their own set of rules by which the customers need to abide. Those rules are that you cannot spam, you cannot hack, do no harm to others, and do not do P2P on servers outside of the privacy locations. Naturally, they also have their full Terms of Service, which you will want to read before you sign up with them.
Not sure if BlackVPN is for you? Check out NordVPN instead, and get the features you need to consistently unblock Netflix. With super-fast speeds, top-level security, and simultaneous connections on up to six devices, there's a reason why it's our #1 recommended VPN.

They used to be great but over half of their VPN locations don't work for me anymore. Customer service never replies back to my tickets. What's worse is that I still have several months left on my subscription. I'm looking for a new VPN provider now. 1/19/2020

They donate 10% from their Privacy plan to the Electronic Frontier Foundation, Donates to Open Source Technology Improvement Fund (open-source auditors) and other privacy causes. I have used them for one year and they had fast speed, good server locations, and according to ThatOnePrivacySite they have some of the best VPN policies.

I decided to try them out by downloading their android app (to be able to apply for the 3 day trial) After getting a "problem contacting the server" error, I sent them an email regarding appliance for their ios beta app through testflight. As they did not answer, I went for a monthly sub as I thought there would be no harm in this, regarding their 14 Day Full Money Back Guarantee. I downloaded the macOS client + configuration files and got it up and running though i found the setup somewhat complicated compared to other new friendly providers. The interface was for me somewhat clunky and buggy and therefore I tried contacting them again to apply for their Money Back Guarantee. Still no answer. In conclusion I cannot recommend blackVPN because of this: Emails and ticket system seems abandoned just like their android app hasn´t been updated in nearly two years?
