CyberGhost and StrongVPN are two very reputable VPN service providers known for security and multi-platform compatibility. You can download apps for either VPN on MacOS, Windows, iOS, and Android devices. Both providers offer your choice of the L2TP, SSTP, OpenVPN, IPSec, and IKEv2 VPN protocols, an assurance that no connection logs will ever be kept, and a 30-day money-back guarantee on all subscription plans. A 24/7 live chat support option is available to users of either VPN.
While CyberGhost has consistently delivered topnotch service over the years, StrongVPN has had to overcome a spell of bad reviews and expand its service. StrongVPN now offers thousands of dedicated IPs, whereas CyberGhost only offers shared IPs. CyberGhost, however, operates a large network of over 2,700 servers in 60+ countries, compared to StrongVPN’s comparatively smaller network of over 650 servers in 26 countries. Another small difference is that CyberGhost allows up to seven simultaneous device connections compared to StrongVPN’s five.
Read on to see how they compare against each other across several categories.

When I read that CyberGhost had been bought out by Kape — a company that used to be infamous for bundling adware into its downloads — alarm bells started ringing. I’ve recommended CyberGhost in the past as a trustworthy and easy-to-use VPN that suits beginners. But with its new ownership, I wondered if CyberGhost is even safe to use anymore
I did a deep dive into CyberGhost’s ownership...
Great and flexible VPNVery cost-effective, secure, and reliable VPN. Great speeds and choice of server locations for maximum privacy. Choice of pre-defined servers for specific requirements and optimized for specific streaming or download services. Would purchase again!

They tell me it is impossible for me to connect to UK Netflix!I've just been trying CyberGhost and had problems connecting to UK Netflix from where I am in South America. It just kept connecting to a different country, probably the US. When I asked their Support about it, I was told (and I have it in writing from a Chat) that to access UK Netflix from outside the UK, you MUST have a UK Netflix account! Can that possibly be true? I have never heard of that from any other VPN and I know NordVPN (so far) connects fine to UK Netflix with my local Netflix account.
StrongVPN provides PPTP, L2TP, OpenVPN, and IPSec Protocols to users, and they are based in the United States. However, they have over four hundred servers in twenty-one different countries. They own their DNS servers, so you don’t have to worry about your data being transmitted through a third party’s server. In addition, they do not log any connection data, including your IP address, the si...
Best VPN i have ever usedI live in a country were many of the online and VOIP services are heavily blocked with strong firewall. I have been using Strongvpn service for more than 17 years and one thing i can say is: Amazing service, great speed, they deliver what they've promised with, excellent customer service and above all great value for price. I've tried many famous VPN providers as out of comparison and i can confirm that none managed to overcome the firewall and connect. One think i would like to add to the above review is: they have a new protocol to connect to the VPN called Wireguard. My current internet speed is 550 Mbps and with my VPN connect the speed i am getting is 460 Mbps. Conclusion, if you want a reliable VPN service with excellent customer service, strongvpn is what you are looking for.

Do NOT USEThe first VPN service I signed up for was strongvpn. But these guys used weak encryption. Someone was doing a man in a middle attack with the weak VPN. This was ages ago. I did my research and I showed their encryption was weak but they brushed it off so I signed up for another one. This company wants the highest profit possible while giving crap service. Weak encryption means lower resources which means more users can use the service means more profit.
I highly suggest mullvad VPN, it is far better.

CyberGhost has a spotless track record of delivering a very secure service. This consistency, coupled with its larger server network, turns this VPN comparison in CyberGhost’s favor overall. Thanks to many recent improvements, however, StrongVPN also offers a reliable VPN service with its network of 650+ servers.

CyberGhost offers dedicated high-speed servers optimized for torrenting and is the ideal choice for P2P activities. StrongVPN also allows torrenting on its servers and, like CyberGhost, places no restrictions on speed or bandwidth.

CyberGhost for Android features a 7-day free trial and a very user-friendly app that’s easy to set up and connect. StrongVPN competes well in this category, though, with a dedicated Android app with a feature that automatically selects the fastest server nearby.

The ability to select hundreds of servers from different US cities makes CyberGhost a very tough VPN to compete with for the USA. It also provides seamless access to geoblocked content from US providers and websites like Netflix. StrongVPN also maintains some US servers and although it doesn’t advertise its ability to access websites like Netflix, it is usually able to do so.

Although StrongVPN has an impressive service, CyberGhost comes out on top when these two VPNs are directly compared. CyberGhost not only offers a larger network and more advanced features, but also provides users with more consistent speeds and a more user-friendly service on any platform. And although both VPNs have a 24/7 live chat feature, CyberGhost’s support agents are more likely to resolve your concerns without redirecting you to open a ticket. Finally, if you don’t mind subscribing to their 3-year plan, CyberGhost also offers a more affordable premium VPN service.
