StrongVPN, however, has over 59,000 shared and dedicated IPs, whereas IPVanish has over 40,000. In terms of refunds, IPvanish offers a 7-day money-back guarantee, compared to StrongVPN’s 30-day policy.

Both VPNs are known for offering unlimited bandwidth and supporting the L2TP, SSTP, OpenVPN, IPSec, and IKEv2 protocols. They also provide dedicated apps for iOS, Android, MacOS, and Windows. You can also expect to receive 24/7 support from either of these VPNs, as well as privacy safeguards like a kill switch and WiFi protection. IPVanish offers high-speed connections and an impressive list of advanced security features at a budget-friendly price. So, I was eager to test it out for myself. I carefully studied its privacy policy and thoroughly tested its speeds, security features, and streaming capabilities. I also looked into its network coverage and ease of use before putting its customer service team to the test. ...

    Very, very satisfied

I am into my third year of using IPVanish. I am extremely happy with the speed, reliability, features ... and reliability. The fact that I have used it for this long without trying the competition speaks volumes. I am never going to try anything else because I am completely happy with what I have. Why risk it?More

Misleading, false advertising, don't honor guarantee. BEWARE

IP address and region not effectively blocked on most sites. Streaming sites do NOT work with their se... rvices, but they do not disclose that anywhere on their website. The support team had no idea in terms of technical knowledge. They claim that their 30-day guarantee is unconditional and there is no risk, but they have so many exclusions buried in their fine print that the average user would have huge difficulty finding. They advertise on many streaming how-to websites where they KNOW their services do not work. COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY. If I could give less than one star I would. SO unethical.More

StrongVPN is one of the oldest VPNs, and many people praise it. However, its monthly plans don't offer a money-back guarantee, and you may find it too expensive if you only need a VPN for a short time. To determine whether it's worth the yearly commitment, I tested every aspect of StrongVPN, including speed, security features, and a thorough investigation of its privacy policy. Overall, I can...

I have a Lifetime subscription of StrongVPN and since two days ago, I cannot connect to any of their s... ervers. I contacted support staff regarding the issue and as soon as I told my country they told me they no longer offer service in my region! I have an active subscription that I've paid for it and expect to get full support and service for it! It's very unprofessional and unacceptable to do this to user which have active subscription already!More

    Best VPN by Category

    Best VPN Overall

Although both VPNs are similar in their offerings, IPVanish still outperforms StrongVPN in areas such as speed, pricing, and features. StrongVPN does offer a decent, secure VPN that includes a DNS service.

    Best VPN for Torrents

IPVanish allows torrenting and P2P file sharing on its network, and backs this commitment up with 256-bit encryption and high-speed servers. StrongVPN similarly supports torrenting on its servers and uses strong encryption to keep your traffic private. However, it lacks the speed offered by IPVanish.

    Best VPN for Windows

IPVanish has a Windows app with a beautiful design that features IPv6 leak protection and LAN blocking for complete privacy. StrongVPN also features a dedicated Windows app that supports the L2TP, SSTP, OpenVPN, IPSec, and IKEv2 protocols and includes public WiFi protection.

    Best VPN for Android

IPVanish for Android can be easily set up and includes OpenVPN scrambling, which helps it bypass firewalls designed to detect and block VPNs. Meanwhile, StrongVPN has an intuitive Android app that automatically selects the best server closest to you and comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee.

    Best VPN for Mac

With NAT firewall and automatic IP switching, IPVanish’s dedicated MacOS app offers a very secure and practical VPN service for Mac users. StrongVPN offers less with its MacOS app, but still uses strong encryption and access to its complete network of 650+ servers.

    Best VPN for iOS

IPVanish supports a dedicated iOS app with unlimited server switching and support for up to 10 simultaneous device connections per subscription. StrongVPN offers a basic service for iOS devices, including a user-friendly interface and support for up to five simultaneous connections.

    Best VPN for USA

IPVanish has hundreds of very fast US servers optimized for unblocking Netflix-US and streaming media from other content providers in the country. StrongVPN only unblocks Netflix via browsers, but still offers several US servers to choose from.

    The Bottom Line

IPVanish provides a far superior service especially in terms of security features, bypassing geoblocks, network speed, and technical support. StrongVPN offers a relatively basic service when compared to IPVanish. Furthermore, IPVanish’s support for up to 10 simultaneous device connections means that it offers more value for your money.

Features like OpenVPN Scrambling, LAN blocking and Automatic IP Switching are only some of the reasons why you should consider getting IPVanish today. Nevertheless, if you compare IPVanish to one of our top-rated VPNs such as ExpressVPN, you’ll find that it comes up a little short with regard to speed, features, and overall privacy.
