On the surface, NordVPN looks like a really impressive service. It claims to have a huge global server network, the ability to unblock tons of streaming platforms, and iron-clad security and privacy features. Plus, you can get it all for just $3.29/month. That all sounds great, but is there a catch? To find out, I did an in-depth analysis of NordVPN. I tested its speeds and how well it performs...

Best documentation was easy to understand

I came from Surfshark which never worked correctly. I had to run from the browser extension with supp... ort telling me it was my network that was causing the problem. That was rubbish. I set Nord up and had it running in a short time from the documentation. I only had to ask support about accessing more servers than just the one I saw. Great product.More

Average service, some nice features, rubbish support

Basic features work really well. Basically. I liked the feature that when Nord crashes (as it seems to...  do monthly) it will shut other apps so they aren't exposed. My subscription is based in Australia. Found downloads peak at about 1-1.5Mb/s, which is ok as long as you aren't playing online games. Don't go for the frills (though hard not to when they gamify them). I canceled my subscription because I added the Kill switch and then MFA. Nek Minnit I can't even log in. No way to remove the Kill switch without logging in. Uninstalled, reinstalled no joy. Went to the help page, and it redirected me to up my subscription as the only solution. No chatbot where I am. and I don't have an email app so couldn't email help. After a couple of hours of mucking around. Gave up and went to a competitor. Note: if I hadn't played with the security settings, I would still be with Nord. But if I can't log in, it's a dead service to me.More

If you are looking for an affordable VPN provider with comprehensive coverage across the globe, then VPN99 (named so because of their $0.99/month price) is the perfect answer. VPN99 is a reliable, cheap and safe VPN provider. I wouldn't recommend this VPN for streaming, since it can't unblock Netflix US, or any other major Netflix libraries either. For that, I'd recommend one of these leading vend...

    Absolutely love it

Everything works smoothly, I'm even satisfied with download speed, watching HD streams without being n... ervous. Also I didn't noticed any traffic limits. Support is friendly , and quick helping. I really wish Vpn99 team to have fortune in fees because I have no idea how they are making profits for such price!More

    Not stable, blocks torrents

I tried this VPN for few hours. The first impression - you never know if you are on VPN or not. It sil... ently disconnects from the gateway and does not announce it... I do not know the reasons of disconnects, but it happens with 5 minutes intervals on few servers in different countries. I suspect that there is a correlation with the connections - the interruptions usually happen on file downloads. Or maybe they have very limited number of IP addresses? It does not allow a kill switch: when the VPN disconnects, the site you connected is reloaded using open connection without any notification. It does not work with torrents and some streaming services. This policy is listed in the FAQs and in the founder's interview. The "monthly use" is in fact in 3-month increments. I thought that the use of VPN could reduce the ads which are popping up, but it happens to be wrong. Yes, it is a low-cost but with all these limitations it is not very useful or usable.More

Simply put, Good Value for Money... NordVPN has plenty to offer, from fast speeds, to optimized servers and the ability to bypass geoblocks on streaming platforms like Netflix and HBO Max. It offers excellent security features like AES 256-bit encryption and a strict no-logs policy to keep you safe online. It’s also easy to use, has an intuitive app interface, and is compatible with a wide range of devices. And when it comes to support, NordVPN is quick to respond with helpful and friendly answers. Its biggest downfalls for me were the long connection times and that it’s slightly more complicated to use for torrenting than other VPNs. It’s also unfortunate that it’s unable to unblock Amazon Prime Video and Sky Go. On top of that, I had difficulty finding the right servers for gaming. However, despite these slight downsides, NordVPN is great value for money. Fast speeds with 5,699
