HMA (formerly HideMyAss) is a relatively cheap VPN that claims to offer more server locations than anyone else. However, it has faced some serious controversies in the past. Is it a VPN that can keep you safe and anonymous online? To find out, I performed extensive tests on all its features and explored its updated privacy policy. I also checked out several connection issues customers have rep...

    Excellent value for money!

First, it's a full VPN. Very intuitive and easy app. Lots of connection options and without much loss ... of speed. The official website has the payment method in my local currency, with a localized value and thus leaving a fair value through the VPN. Thank VPNMentor for the product recommendation and targeted discount.More

CryptoStorm is a VPN service that understands just how much your privacy means to you, and they’ve been striving to provide their customers with the very best unlimited use VPN in the business. We’ve tested the system and found it to be one of the top options out there for what they promise. However, Cryptostorm cannot unblock Netflix. If you're looking for a VPN for streaming, ExpressVPN is ...

    VPN Reviews

Anyone who searches for reviews on VPNs should quickly notice/realize some bias clearly exists w/most ... of them. As if a monetary incentive is influencing the reviews, maybe it's just me. I've been using Cryptostorm for the last 6 months and it has exceeded all my expectations. I will be renewing their service in the near term for an additional 12 months. I currently have 3 separate VPN providers since I prefer to mix them up and this company has given me the least issues. I've used Cryptostorm, proton, IP vanish, surfshark, and torgaurd just to name a few. As someone stated, it's a VPN built by nerds so if you possess a small amount of the nerd trait, you should have minimal issues following the numerous documented instructions on the various ways to set up and take advantage of their stellar and superior VPN services. I am not being reimbursed or offered any compensation for this review since over the last 7 years using various other VPNs they have performed best in my experience.More

    Horrible Support and Doesn't Work

Won't be wasting $52 when the year ends. After using cryptofree for 2 years, it stopped working - thei... r support claimed the DC decommissioned the server. So I purchased their paid service - it didn't work behind the Secure Folder on my Android which was where I was intending to use it (and had been using their cryptofree server with absolutely zero trouble). Contacted support again and this was their response word for word: "DNS issue? Rather a topic for an android forum." Insolence. Rude, rude, rude, rude, and very typical of Icelandic customer service. Funny how I can use the free ProtonVPN and their FREE cryptofree version with any "DNS issues". I wasted USD$52 on their ridiculous service. First and last time they'll be getting any $$ from me.More

Final Verdict — A Decent VPN With Several Flaws HMA is impressive in a few areas. It offers the most locations of any VPN, and its updated privacy policy has been audited to prove it’s followed. HMA also comes with solid security features and works well for torrenting. However, it still can’t compete with the best VPNs. Its servers all lowered my speeds quite a bit. Plus, it’s bad for streaming and gaming. HMA doesn’t support as many devices as its top competitors, there are connection issues, and it offers weak customer support. You’ll get better value for your money if you try one of the best VPNs available today. Tons of server locations Solid security features Audited no logs-policy Fast torrenting speeds 7-day free trial FAQs on HMA Is HMA safe? Yes, HMA is safe. It comes with military-grade encryption, and it passed all of my leak tests. Plus,
