ExpressVPN is a leading VPN option while Norton Secure VPN, formerly known as Norton WiFi Privacy, is a service best used for secure browsing. Both offer bank-grade encryption even on public wi-fi networks, as well as reliable streaming and identity protection. There are significant differences in the number of servers, customer support quality, and P2P capabilities. ExpressVPN is fast, has robust unblocking capabilities, and is very torrenting friendly, while Norton Secure VPN’s service does not support torrents. Norton Secure VPN does collect some anonymized data for its own research, but the company has a strict no-logs policy that won’t collect your originating IP address. Both services are compatible with most major devices and operating systems, but ExpressVPN includes support for Linux as well as some TVs and game consoles. User reviews and reports also give ExpressVPN a slight edge when it comes to the speed of the service.

Is ExpressVPN really the fastest out there? Is it worth the price, even with its latest discount? I ran every test possible to find out.
Whether you want to stream Netflix, download torrents, play video games, or stay anonymous and secure online, I’ve got the important info you need. Spoiler: ExpressVPN can do all of these, and its latest version is a serious contender for the VPN crown. Bu...
Good vpnI had tried 4 VPN's and ExpressVPN was a little higher priced but gave me more speed than the other three did. I am using a Linksys WRT3200 router and that works very well except with smarter IPTV I find it to be glitchy.
It does drop my internet speed by about 60 percent but the competition dropped even more.
I like it overall. They do need more connections in Canada.

Express VPN is TERRIBLE!After reading all of the rave reviews, I signed up for ExpressVPN. Express VPN constantly causes me to lose my internet connection on my Dell XPS Laptop, Windows 10 especially when booting the computer or waking the computer. I then have to disconnect Express via the task manager and reconnect to internet. It sometimes kills my connection in the middle of tasks. There is no telephone support. Email to support went unanswered. After troubleshooting with Chat and sending my log files which are fine, Chat Support simply said that this was a problem their engineers are aware of. Whaaaaat? So when, if ever, will there be a fix?? Worthless service, Terrible support! Deserves zero stars.
Norton is one of the biggest names in internet security, and when I discovered it also launched a VPN, I had to see what it’s about. I wasn’t expecting more than online security, but is that enough to declare it a great VPN service?
Since its headquarters are in the US, I started by looking into its privacy policy to see what kind of information it stores, what it does with it, and what I ...
Excellent especially with locations and bundledInstall. Done. No muss, no fuss. It checks your WiFi and if it is secure it does not use the VPN so no speed hassles and streaming works perfectly. The author must be streaming on the move with Netflix. So turn off the vpn (a few swipes) and done. He may be right about privacy freaks not liking. I tried several top VPNs and ... nobody knew my location, and especially Google in Safari (iOS iPone). Locations randomly changed! This is a major hassles for navigation and search. On many products I could check "allow location" and they worked. No longer private. Google never worked. Norton always allows my correct location which I value. Location spoofing is not my thing. So author's minuses are plusses for me. Also get million dollar LifeLock coverage with bundle and works on PC and Desktop Apple and iPad and iPhone and Android and ... for less hassle and bundling advantages and portability you can't beat this. Privacy and on the move streaming (not important to me considering the downsides) author has a point. What do you value?

Norton's VPNI have to remember to turn Norton VPN every time I use my computer. I have done a chat with Norton twice because I didn't believe them when they told me this the first time. This feature is totally worthless as far as I am concerned.

ExpressVPN is a speed leader for streaming geo-restricted services, plus it offers more than 3,000 servers in 94 countries, all of which support torrenting and P2P activities. Norton Secure VPN is a user-friendly service that allows access to top US streaming services and high-quality encryption at home or on public, unsecured wi-fi networks.

ExpressVPN really shines here because all servers allow torrenting and it has one of the fastest networks we’ve tested. Norton Secure VPN does not support torrenting and will automatically turn off when it detects active torrent traffic. A customer service agent told us Norton does not plan to change this in the future.

The dedicated ExpressVPN Android app gives you access to the company’s fast servers around the globe and log prevention, but still hasn’t added a kill switch. Androids running 4.1 or later can use Norton Secure VPN's app. Users say it is fast, reliable, and doesn't drain your battery.

ExpressVPN reliably bypasses geo-blocking efforts from Netflix, Hulu, and others, with users all over the globe reporting success. Norton Secure VPN delivers fast US connections without leaking data and with ad-blocking features. It unblocked Netflix and Hulu in our test, but some users report trouble with these services depending on the server use.

ExpressVPN is a hard option to beat and Norton Secure VPN doesn’t make the cut for many uses. Both services are incredibly secure across all major platforms, but we like ExpressVPN’s added support for game consoles and Linux. Additionally, the service offers thousands more servers and you can torrent on all of them. You’ll find their customer support to be much more responsive too. Most importantly for some of you, ExpressVPN does not log your data and is based in the British Virgin Islands, so you’re safe and secure. On the other hand, Norton Secure VPN is a US-based service with minimal logs, which means that it could be required to share your private information with various intelligence agencies. Its lack of a kill switch also makes us more eager to recommend ExpressVPN to you.
