IPVanish and Trust.Zone VPN are two top VPN providers famously reliable for bypassing very tough geoblocks and providing fast and secure service. They both maintain no-logs policies and offer additional security safeguards like tracking protection and kill switch functionality. Unlimited bandwidth and unrestricted speed, strong 256-bit encryption, and support for torrenting and other P2P file-sharing activities can also be expected with either of these VPN providers.

However, when it comes to apps and cross-platform support, Trust.Zone only provides a dedicated Windows app, whereas IPVanish has user-friendly apps for Windows, MacOS, Linux, Android, and iOS. IPVanish also has a considerably larger network of 1,000+ servers in 61 countries, compared to Trust.Zone’s 127 servers in 31 countries. Another critical difference is that while Trust.Zone’s no-logging policy is 100% verified, IPVanish was caught in 2016 violating its own stated policy by storing user data and providing it to the US government during a criminal investigation.

So it’s a closely contested comparison – read on for all the details!

IPVanish offers high-speed connections and an impressive list of advanced security features at a budget-friendly price. So, I was eager to test it out for myself. My team and I carefully studied its privacy policy and thoroughly tested its speeds, security features, and streaming capabilities. We also looked into its network coverage and ease of use before putting its customer service team to ...

    Very, very satisfied

I am into my third year of using IPVanish. I am extremely happy with the speed, reliability, features ... and reliability. The fact that I have used it for this long without trying the competition speaks volumes. I am never going to try anything else because I am completely happy with what I have. Why risk it?More

Misleading, false advertising, don't honor guarantee. BEWARE

IP address and region not effectively blocked on most sites. Streaming sites do NOT work with their se... rvices, but they do not disclose that anywhere on their website. The support team had no idea in terms of technical knowledge. They claim that their 30-day guarantee is unconditional and there is no risk, but they have so many exclusions buried in their fine print that the average user would have huge difficulty finding. They advertise on many streaming how-to websites where they KNOW their services do not work. COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY. If I could give less than one star I would. SO unethical.More

You can tell from its name that Trust.Zone markets itself as a privacy-friendly VPN. While it doesn't log your data, there have been many complaints about “Trust Zone”. This includes reports of buggy apps and an inadequate refund policy. So, my team and I performed extensive tests on all its features to see if it’s safe, fast, and trustworthy enough to try. After all our tests, I can say ...

6 years with TZ and no real complaints

What to say about Trust Zone? Well, for $39.95 for a year compared to the next 'recommended' VPN comp... any at more than double that I can't see a good reason to leave Trust Zone, at all! Issues - It's literally only been this year that I've been experiencing problems, support has always gotten back to me within about 48hrs, not on weekends or evenings, which could be a potential problem. However, I've always been able to follow their instructions and fixed any errors that have occurred, uninstalling and reinstalling are simple and I've found that fixed any seemingly annoying problem, and it doesn't take more than 5mins to do that! Sometimes (I used UK servers mostly, based there) the server can get a little slow, or seem to stop, but I just flick over to another UK server or Germany is another fave and no more problem for 99% of the time I've ever had any issues. Benefits - For the price Trust Zone VPN is 'IMHO' truly great value for money and the privacy and security could be no better from everything that I've read, even on here. I bought Nord VPN yesterday as I was getting connectivity issues and wanted to see if it was TZ, it wasn't and now I've got to wait a week for my refund from Nord VPN, I wasn't impressed at all and it wouldn't connect properly and my speeds were truly terrible! This was on the supposed fast server for what I was using, I couldn't use my fave 'app' shall we say, and when it did connect I didn't get more than just under 2mbps and I have over 70mbps on my line and that will be going to a Gig soon, can't wait! The UK is so far behind where I lived in S.E Asia for 17yrs, that it's almost laughable, but it isn't is it! 1st world England, I think not! Lulz. I hope that TZ can sort out their server maintenance and inform the users of when it's being done, or a symbol next to the server(s) would be a nice touch to let us know that it's being worked on, etc. All in all, from the abysmal Nord VPN experience I had yesterday, all evening trying to get it to work, paying more certainly doesn't mean better in my years of computer and internet experience, and most recently been proven right yet again! Last hint and tip, never connect to the internet without a VPN. Good luck out there all. Wendy.More

Dedicated ips with port forwarding not working on every location

I am using 4 different VPN servers with dedicated IP's and port forwarding. One server in Montreal an... d one in Tokyo are running with wireguard connections in ubuntu without any problems. The server in UK stopped to establish connections with wireguard for more than a week, so I had to switch to openvpn. Also the UK server was down for two days. Trust.zone reported network card problems. The fourth server is located in Moscow and makes the biggest trouble. Wireguard also stopped working for about more than a week. Then I switched to openvpn. With openvpn the connections are now always established and broken after a view seconds. Trust.Zone tells, that there is a second connection present. But I have only one connection. So I assume the dedicated IP is sold to multiple users. Conclusion: The dedicated ip with port forwarding is basically cool. But when it is not working, then trust.zone can't fix it, and has no money back, nor giving another ip at another location as replacement.More

    Best VPN by Category

    Best VPN Overall

For its use of the strongest modern encryption technology, for basing its operations in privacy-friendly Seychelles, and for its ability to unblock Netflix without problems, we recommend Trust.Zone as a VPN service. IPVanish is based in the US, under the scrutiny of Five Eyes, but still provides a reliable service with fast servers and feature-rich apps.

    Best VPN for Torrents

IPVanish offers very fast servers and unlimited bandwidth for torrenting and P2P file sharing. It also uses a SOCKS5 proxy to shield users while they torrent. Meanwhile, Trust.Zone also supports torrenting and offers unlimited bandwidth, although support for P2P activity is not actively promoted as one of the VPN’s core strengths.

    Best VPN for Windows

Trust.Zone has a dedicated Windows client that features ultra-modern encryption and built-in tracking protection. IPVanish also has a very user-friendly Windows app, with LAN blocking and unlimited server switching as two of its key strengths.

    Best VPN for Android

IPVanish has a dedicated Android app that has a powerful OpenVPN scrambler which helps it to bypass geoblocks without detection. Although Trust.Zone has no dedicated app, it can easily be setup on Android devices and still manages to provide strong encryption, including support for the OpenVPN protocol. However, it lacks a user-friendly interface.

    Best VPN for Mac

IPVanish offers a MacOS app that’s packed with strong features like automatic IP switching and access to its entire network of 40,000+ IP addresses. Trust.Zone has no MacOS app but can be easily integrated into Macs and still prevents tracking. It also supports the IKEv2 protocol as a default on MacOS.

    Best VPN for iOS

Users who own multiple iOS gadgets can benefit from IPVanish’s support for 10 simultaneous device connections and secure app with a neat user interface. Trust.Zone can be configured into iOS devices using the built-in VPN tool and allows up to three simultaneous connections.

    Best VPN for USA

IPVanish has hundreds of local US servers and readily unblocks Netflix and other US geoblocked content from anywhere in the world. Trust.Zone also has several servers in the US and reliably unblocks Netflix and other US websites with no hassles.

    The Bottom Line

For offering better prices and a more secure service overall, Trust.Zone claims the prize in this hard-fought VPN comparison. Both VPNs offer very competitive services, and IPVanish takes care of a broader range of users by offering apps for mobile, but it’s Trust.Zone’s lack of compromise with security that makes it the ultimate winner. In part, this distinction is based on the fact that IPVanish is subject to US data retention laws, whereas Trust.Zone benefits from the privacy pfocus of the Seychelles.

Another winning point for Trust.Zone is that it is able to bypass the Great Firewall of China. So if you need a modern VPN with solid encryption that unblocks Netflix and works in any part of the world, Trust.Zone would be a great choice.

Yet while Trust.Zone is undoubtedly a reliable VPN by every standard, you’d be surprised how other top VPNs like NordVPN and CyberGhost can make it look like it underperforms.
