Both of these VPN services offer great protection. NordVPN offers protection through the fact that they have so many servers in a variety of locations. StrongVPN offers great protection through the fact that they own their own DNS servers, meaning there are no 3rd party involved. This offers an extra level of protection that you can’t always guarantee. NordVPN is the larger of the two VPNs, which allows them to have the better price (although not by much) and more devices per license. However, StrongVPN’s customer service provides set up guides for every operating system that they support. StrongVPN can even help you with getting better rates on Skype calls by changing your location to a local location compared to the number that you’re trying to reach.

Is NordVPN really the leading vendor it claims to be? Does its latest coupon make it better value for your money than ExpressVPN and CyberGhost? I ran every test possible to see how well it really performs. From its encryption and security measures to its speeds and ability to get around geoblocking, you'll find everything you need to know about NordVPN in this full review. Before we dive right in...
Very Good Choice + Best Customer SupportFor me, this is the fastest customer support I experienced so far. They answer my ticket very quickly. When it comes to speed and stability compared to ExpressVPN it is just almost the same. The price here is the main reason why I switched to NordVPN.

Great choice!Lenny, completely agree with you! Everything works great with Nord VPN! The download speed is really good and doesn't have any hiccups. It's very easy to use. It's nice to feel protected and safe from prying eyes. I will be a lifelong customer!
StrongVPN provides PPTP, L2TP, OpenVPN, and IPSec Protocols to users, and they are based in the United States. However, they have over four hundred servers in twenty-one different countries. They own their DNS servers, so you don’t have to worry about your data being transmitted through a third party’s server. In addition, they do not log any connection data, including your IP address, the si...
Best VPN i have ever usedI live in a country were many of the online and VOIP services are heavily blocked with strong firewall. I have been using Strongvpn service for more than 17 years and one thing i can say is: Amazing service, great speed, they deliver what they've promised with, excellent customer service and above all great value for price. I've tried many famous VPN providers as out of comparison and i can confirm that none managed to overcome the firewall and connect. One think i would like to add to the above review is: they have a new protocol to connect to the VPN called Wireguard. My current internet speed is 550 Mbps and with my VPN connect the speed i am getting is 460 Mbps. Conclusion, if you want a reliable VPN service with excellent customer service, strongvpn is what you are looking for.

Do NOT USEThe first VPN service I signed up for was strongvpn. But these guys used weak encryption. Someone was doing a man in a middle attack with the weak VPN. This was ages ago. I did my research and I showed their encryption was weak but they brushed it off so I signed up for another one. This company wants the highest profit possible while giving crap service. Weak encryption means lower resources which means more users can use the service means more profit.
I highly suggest mullvad VPN, it is far better.

Both NordVPN and StrongVPN are popular names in the online security field. Both offer great features and advanced security measures. However, NordVPN secures its network with double data encryption (Double VPN). In their long-term plans, NordVPN offers better prices, and you can use it on more devices simultaneously. NordVPN also exceeds StrongVPN in its customer support.

StrongVPN supports torrenting on all its servers, while NordVPN supports it only on specific servers. However, NordVPN has dedicated these servers and optimized them exclusively for P2P sharing. This means that you won’t need to search for a suitable server among all the servers, as the recommended servers provide the speed and privacy required for this purpose.

Here’s where the competition gets tough, as both NordVPN and StrongVPN have user-friendly apps for Windows. Both apps are rich in features and provide strong online security for your Windows devices, but when you dig a little deeper, you’ll find that NordVPN takes the lead, allowing you to choose the mode or the purpose of your use for the VPN - and the app will automatically configure its settings to fit this requirement.

There are several similarities between NordVPN and StrongVPN’s Android apps. Both apps support OpenVPN UDP and TCP as their only protocols. In addition, both apps have a built-in kill switch and allow you to connect to obfuscated servers. However, NordVPN still takes the lead with its Double VPN security and higher connection speeds.

When it comes to the MacOS apps offered by NordVPN and StrongVPN, it’s not an easy comparison. Both are easy to install and use, and both support multiple security protocols. Even though it looks like a tie, NordVPN comes out on top for more than one reason - for instance, its additional features, such as custom DNS and Cybersec (built-in adware). While using NordVPN on your MacOS device, it can be used on 5 other devices simultaneously, while with StrongVPN, you can only use it on 4 additional devices.

Getting a reliable VPN app for iOS devices is always a challenge, due to the fact that not all providers are able to combine all their features in their apps for this platform. For starters, both NordVPN and StrongVPN support IKEv2 as the main security protocol in their iOS apps instead of OpenVPN. However, NordVPN manages to fit in other security and privacy features, such as Onion over VPN available servers among many other ultra-fast servers optimized for both speed and security.

If you look at both VPNs' US server networks, you’ll find that both operate a large number. To be more specific, StrongVPN operates 450+ servers while NordVPN operates 1800+ servers within the US. However, if we look at the core purpose of having servers in the US, which is to access American geo-restricted content, NordVPN would take the lead. This is not only because it is able to access blocked services, such as Netflix, Hulu, and HBO Go, but also it has dedicated servers within the US, optimized for that purpose.

Even though StrongVPN has very nice qualities, NordVPN is the better of the two services. You will be able to use the service on more devices, and it will be easy to install on every device that you need it on. Though NordVPN is a larger company, it still has excellent customer support and will be able to help you get the most out of your VPN service. Even with the few bugs that NordVPN runs into, its service can’t be beaten by StrongVPN.
Interestingly, if you compare NordVPN with NordPass, which is our top ranked vpn, you'll see that NordVPN can learn a lot from NordPass. Compare NordVPN with NordPass
