Rocket VPN Review & Test 2024 — Read This Before Buying

Our Score: 6.6/10
Ranked 157th out of 305 VPNs

Numerous free VPN services are vying for your attention. So, how does RocketVPN, based in Ireland, measure up when it comes to aspects like privacy, security, reliability, and speed?

Right out of the box, RocketVPN gives 250MB free bandwidth each month to every user and access to their USA server. This free version is ad-supported where as paid subscribers have the ads removed. Premium subscribers will also have access to a further 9 geographical server locations, such as Australia, UK, Netherlands, France and Singapore and unlimited bandwidth. This helps you to bypass any restricted content in your current location and even conceal your activity from your mobile provider.

So, YouTube, Spotify or Netflix are all within a few clicks and, better yet, their servers are much quicker than other VPNs so this allows you to stream videos or music without interruptions or compromising your connection speed. If you regularly hook-up to public Wi-Fi networks (cafes, restaurants, hotels), this VPN will ensure your IP remains anonymous so you can browse securely away from prying eyes and hackers. If Netflix is top of your list, check out our top picks. You could enjoy even better speeds and streaming quality!

RocketVPN supplies a native app for both Android and iOS comprising of a simple user-interface that will require no technical knowledge to get up and running. It’s very lightweight – taking only 15MB of space in your handset. Included within the app is a bandwidth monitor to alert you when you’re running low on bandwidth. You also have the choice to open other apps (like What’s App, Chrome or Spotify) via the “Add Launcher" option, which forces all data to go through to the VPN servers instead of your mobile providers.

When it comes to speeds, VPNs tend to slow down your connection to a certain degree. RocketVPN, as their name suggest, manages to maintain high speeds with their paid version. However, you might encounter sluggish performance with their free service. To avoid slow speeds it’s generally wise to choose a server location that’s only slowed down but can remain faster if you choose a server.

With over 1 million downloads to date, RocketVPN is very reliable and stable mobile VPN. The premium package comes at very affordable price with the option to pay monthly or yearly.

I have had Rocket VPN for about 6 months I recommend it .

Well what can i waffle on about for 200 words ! Nothing really except that it does exactly what it says on the Box & you take it for granted until its gone & your location or IP is not in Bristol or Aberystwyth or Berlin anymore it is right where you actually are .
