TgVPN Review & Test 2021 - Keep This in Mind Before Buying

TgVPN is relatively new on the scene and is designed to accompany Telegram – a popular cloud-based messaging app that encrypts messages. The app has always supported user privacy and this latest development has upped the security another level.

But as a fairly new kid on the block, TgVPN doesn’t yet have all the features that a premium vendor can offer you. For example, it cannot unblock Netflix or other streaming sites. If you need a VPN for streaming TV and movies, opt for a service like ExpressVPN. ExpressVPN offers maximum security, super-fast speeds, and a global server network that can unblock every Netflix region.

Telegram works on all the major platforms, as does TgVPN, which can support three devices simultaneously at highly competitive prices. TgVPN comes as a bot which will guide you through the set-up process.

Telegram has been criticized over its security in the past, but it does have an ever-increasing list of features that tackle these issues. TgVPN used the same standard encryption as most other VPN providers, but it lacks some of the sophistication of leading companies like ExpressVPN. Although the TgVPN bot was released over a year ago, there is still little information available and the reviews section in Telegram’s bot store remains dubiously empty.

As Telegram relies on cloud-based storage, there are some concerns over the safety of stored or archived conversations. Telegram, however, claims all stored data is heavily encrypted and the keys are stored in separate locations to prevent physical, as well as virtual, infringement. Telegram relies on different payment platforms around the world so do not have access to your data; however, they cannot guarantee the safety of information being handled by a third party.

TgVPN claims to have a realistic approach to privacy without the sensationalism of insignificant tools. Their privacy policy declares that all conversations are protected, as is your personal data. With these as a top priority, the company is making moves in the right direction.

The Bottom Line

Easily accessible but lacking sophistication

The validity of TgVPN’s security claims is tenuous to say the least and its feature-heavy app might look the part but is far from invincible. Furthermore, users in restricted countries will need a VPN to access Telegram in the first place, making their TgVPN bot rather redundant. It also cannot unblock streaming sites like Netflix or Hulu.

Save yourself the hassle and opt for a highly rated vendor instead. We’ve tried and tested thousands of VPNs to bring you the 10 best ones that can offer you an impressive server network, top-level security, and no limitations on VPN features. TgVPN User Reviews
