AirVPN and StrongVPN are two popular VPN providers with very different key offerings. While StrongVPN offers around 650 servers in 26 countries, AirVPN has only about 220 servers in 20 countries. AirVPN also has only a 3-day money-back guarantee, compared to StrongVPN’s 30-day guarantee for new orders. While both VPNs support the OpenVPN encryption protocol, only StrongVPN also provides support for the L2TP, SSTP, IPSec, and IKEv2 protocols. In terms of dedicated apps, both VPNs have apps for MacOS and Windows, but you’ll only find iOS and Android apps with StrongVPN. If you ever encounter any challenges with either of these VPNs, AirVPN handles inquiries via email and web forms, whereas StrongVPN offers a 24/7 live chat system. These two VPNs have a few things in common, however. They both use 256-bit encryption across their networks and offer protection from leaks and tracking. AirVPN and StrongVPN are also pretty reliable for bypassing tough geo-restrictions from media platforms like US Netflix and Hulu. See our more detailed review below to help you decide which VPN is better.

AirVPN is a reliable, budget-friendly VPN with high-end security features. It offers unlimited bandwidth on 200+ servers across 20 countries.
Let’s take an in-depth look at its features and policies to find out if this is the best VPN for you.
AirVPN does work with Netflix, but it's not quite the seamless streaming experience we'd hoped for, with slow speeds and ads. If you want speedy, uni...
The best VPN for LinuxIt is the best VPN for Linux. I live in the UK and never had a problem. Running on multiple Linux laptops and pfSense. If you are an advanced user you can add up to 20 forwarding ports so technically it can become limitless.

Very badDon't complain about slow speeds, even if you can prove it you will get banned and blocked and they remove your comment from the page.
Btw for not keeping logs there is much user data available on their web.
My 3rd vpn and it's the worst from all.
Is it bad to say " i think servers are overloaded, i have to change continuously from server and lose gaming points on cs4 for this"....i was banned for this text.
StrongVPN provides PPTP, L2TP, OpenVPN, and IPSec Protocols to users, and they are based in the United States. However, they have over four hundred servers in twenty-one different countries. They own their DNS servers, so you don’t have to worry about your data being transmitted through a third party’s server. In addition, they do not log any connection data, including your IP address, the si...
Best VPN i have ever usedI live in a country were many of the online and VOIP services are heavily blocked with strong firewall. I have been using Strongvpn service for more than 17 years and one thing i can say is: Amazing service, great speed, they deliver what they've promised with, excellent customer service and above all great value for price. I've tried many famous VPN providers as out of comparison and i can confirm that none managed to overcome the firewall and connect. One think i would like to add to the above review is: they have a new protocol to connect to the VPN called Wireguard. My current internet speed is 550 Mbps and with my VPN connect the speed i am getting is 460 Mbps. Conclusion, if you want a reliable VPN service with excellent customer service, strongvpn is what you are looking for.

Do NOT USEThe first VPN service I signed up for was strongvpn. But these guys used weak encryption. Someone was doing a man in a middle attack with the weak VPN. This was ages ago. I did my research and I showed their encryption was weak but they brushed it off so I signed up for another one. This company wants the highest profit possible while giving crap service. Weak encryption means lower resources which means more users can use the service means more profit.
I highly suggest mullvad VPN, it is far better.

The size of StrongVPN’s network, the availability of mobile apps, and the provider’s support for more simultaneous connections add up to a more robust service than AirVPN provides. AirVPN is also a reliable VPN provider, however, with a commendable focus on security. Its main drawback is the absence of mobile apps.

AirVPN has dedicated P2P servers and provides a very reliable service for downloading torrents anonymously. It also supports port forwarding to keep your online activity anonymous. StrongVPN provides an unrestricted service for downloading torrents without a trace across its network.

StrongVPN is the ideal choice here for Android users, as it offers a dedicated app that includes wi-fi and tracking protection, along with a unique function that selects the best server closest to your location automatically. Meanwhile, AirVPN can be easily integrated into Android devices by using the universal OpenVPN app, which is available on Play Store. However, the absence of a dedicated AirVPN Android app means it’s not a great choice for VPN beginners.

Strong encryption, access to 650+ servers, and support for the L2TP, SSTP, OpenVPN, IPSec, and IKEv2 protocols are some of the reasons why StrongVPN is a good VPN choice for MacOS. The StrongVPN MacOS app also features a neatly designed layout. With AirVPN’s dedicated MacOS app, you can expect to find a built-in DNS feature, port forwarding, and advanced leak protection to keep you anonymous.

StrongVPN provides an attractive service for iOS, with a dedicated app that gives you access to 59,500 IP addresses, along with support for up to 12 simultaneous device connections. Although you won’t find a dedicated iOS app from AirVPN, you can easily set it up on your devices using the OpenVPN app and still enjoy strong encryption and access to all the provider’s servers.

StrongVPN is great for accessing geoblocked content like US Netflix and Hulu, regardless of your location. However, StrongVPN only allows you to access Netflix via the streaming platform’s website, not the Netflix App. AirVPN provides a competitive US service that includes numerous dedicated servers and a unique technology that allows you access US Netflix from all 220 servers in the provider’s worldwide network.

The Bottom Line

StrongVPN has improved its service over the years to now include very smooth apps for all major desktop and mobile platforms, which is not the case with AirVPN. StrongVPN also offers over twice as many servers as AirVPN and is very effective for bypassing geoblocks. These service improvements in recent years alone would be enough for Strong VPN to come out on top in this contest. Yet StrongVPN goes further with support for up to 12 simultaneous connections, a 30-day money-back guarantee, and live chat support. We still see StrongVPN as a mid-level VPN service overall, but it is on the rise.
