Comparing such different vendors is not easy; NordVPN provides a high-quality service across the board, while Turbo VPN focuses solely on the mobile market, specifically Android and iOS. Turbo is a free to use service and users have limited servers and must contend with advertising. NordVPN is not free but does provide excellent value for money with over 2000 servers and in the region of 60 server locations. Both vendors offer stable, fast connections, simple to use interfaces, and have no problems accessing geo-restricted content. However, NordVPN’s focus on security, its higher number of servers, and its customer service push it into the lead.

On the surface, NordVPN looks like a really impressive service. It claims to have a huge global server network, a speedy and reliable connection, and iron-clad security and privacy features. Plus, you can get it all for just $3.09/month. That all sounds great, but is there a catch? To find out, I did an in-depth analysis of NordVPN. I tested its speeds and how well it performs when you’re str...

    The Best of The Best

I simply tested all VPNs looking for cutting-edge online security, I tested the most expensive and the...  most talked about virtual anonymity, none made me as happy as NordVPN, it stands out for several reasons that the much more expensive ones it doesn't have, its double encryption, dedicated IPs, onion VPN, makes NordVPN unique, with almost 6,000 servers around the world and 12 million customers like me, you can see that NordVPN is not playing games with its customers and their online security , it always innovates to keep you more secure day after day, for a fair price in the long term and without sacrificing the speed of your connection, recently Nord is developing a new VPN protocol, Nordlynx a version still under construction derived from the Wireguard protocol, if you want to have a VPN of last security that think how it will make you more secure in the next month NordVPN is the right choice, I am completely thankful for being a customer and for finding what to me is the perfect VPN.More

    BUYER BEWARE!

BUYER BEWARE! If you purchase NordVPN, it will throttle your interned speed/connectivity by 50%, like ... it did to mine. I pay $100/month to get speeds of nearly 600mbs. With NordVPN turned on, my speeds decrease to 250mbs. Nord’s “customer support” is useless and unprofessional, and, after nearly 3 weeks of endless “try this, try that”, they were unable to resolve the issue and blamed it on everything under the sun except their product, when it is OBVIOUS that, since I have zero speed issues with Nord turned off, and ONLY experience the issues with Nord turned on, it is NordVPN that is causing the issue. When I asked them for a refund of my one year subscription paid in advance and in good faith, they refused, and have now decided to ignore me. So, YOU’VE BEEN WARNED. Their VPN will devastate your internet speeds, their “support” is ridiculous, they are in denial, and they will not refund your money, even if their product is a failure…More

Turbo VPN is one of the most popular free VPNs available, but it’s had its fair share of controversies. It has tried to clean up its image over the years, so I tested all its features to see if it can keep you safe online. Overall, I do not recommend using the free or paid versions of Turbo VPN. It’s definitely not safe since it leaked my real IP address on several servers. The free Chrome e...

    It's the ideal free vpn.

Many people complains that the speed is slow but I would like to say that VPNs are slow generally and ... this is much much better than others. Simple, few or non ads and good servers! I'm satisfied in it's normal speed even though I am not a premium user. The speed is quite reasonable for free VPN.More

    Best VPN by Category

    Best VPN Overall

NordVPN has the stronger encryption, a strict no logging policy, and the greater number of servers. However, Turbo VPN is one of the few that is able to counter the ever-stronger geo-blocks being put in place by the likes of Netflix.

    Best VPN for Torrents

NordVPN only allows torrenting on specific P2P servers. However, once connected to one of these servers your data is secured with military grade encryption and a kill switch, should your connection suddenly drop. Turbo VPN only has a choice of 5 server locations, but torrenting is allowed on all of them.

    Best VPN for Windows

NordVPN is the clear winner in this category as Turbo VPN is not designed to work with Windows, at least not on a desktop. There is an app for the Windows phone, but it did not show in the search results for the Windows store.

    Best VPN for Android

The two providers are much closer when it comes to Android. Turbo VPN provides excellent connection speeds, a stable connection and good security. However, NordVPN pushes ahead again with superior security and its excellent customer services.

    Best VPN for Mac

Turbo VPN does not have a program for MAC, since it is only available on Android and iOS. NordVPN, on the other hand, has a streamlined, easy-to-use app that makes it the clear winner.

    Best VPN for iOS

This is Turbo VPN’s key territory and it provides users with an easy to use interface, great speeds, and a stable connection. Where NordVPN takes the lead is its superior encryption and greater number of servers.

    Best VPN for USA

While Turbo VPN does operate servers in the United States and can bypass US content restrictions, NordVPN boasts a significantly larger server count and consistently manages to unblock a variety of streaming platforms.

    The Bottom Line

Turbo VPN is a good VPN for mobile devices that is specifically designed to work seamlessly from mobile hotspots. However, NordVPN has the superior security, more servers and server locations, and better customer service. It can be used across 6 devices on the one license providing a truly seamless experience. It provides real value for money, even when compared to a free service.
