VPN One Click Review 2019 - Keep This in Mind Before Buying

If you’re a beginner or on a tight budget, you can consider VPN One Click. Although VPN One Click doesn’t dazzle with advanced technical specs, rich features, and robust performance, it delivers an above average product at reasonable prices for single devices and mild users.

VPN One Click doesn’t log data and provides basic encryption levels by supporting L2TP/IPSec and the notoriously insecure PPTP. Unfortunately, VPN One Click doesn’t support more secure protocols like OpenVPN or more advanced security techniques such as Double VPN, kill switch, or DNS leak protection. For that, you'll need a top vendor like NordVPN or ExpressVPN.

However, VPN One Click has a few worthy perks such as offering cross-platform compatibility with all major operating systems and devices (portable and desktops) like Windows, Windows Phone, Mac OS, iOS, Android, routers, Smart TVs, and gaming consoles. Moreover, VPN One Click expanded its server network since its launch in 2011 to cover 41 important countries including USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Italy, France, Sweden, India, Singapore, Hong Kong, Turkey, Japan, Mexico, Russia, Romania, Germany, and many more. In addition, you get unlimited bandwidth and unlimited high speeds.

With minimal features, measly security, and inconsistent overall performance, we hoped we’d find a trial or a generous refund policy, but sadly, you’re at your own risk with One Click VPN. As previously mentioned, this VPN is more recommended for casual and novice VPN users, but there are far more powerful VPNs out there for more sophisticated VPN users.

Features Details

Number of servers 52
Does VPN keep logs? No
Does VPN include a kill switch? No
Number of devices per license 1
Pricing 4.0 / 5.0

VPN One Click changes their monthly prices based on the device you use, but they are all pretty affordable. Since you can only use one device per license, make sure it the device you will use the most.

The Bottom Line

A cheap VPN that matches its price

While VPN One Click has the prices we’d like to see, the features are very limited. There is only basic encryption and no option for OpenVPN, a kill-switch, or DNS leak protection. In addition, you can only use one device, and there is no free trial or money-back guarantee.

Although you’ll be paying slightly more each month for a premium VPN, we think the extra features make it worth it. With NordVPN or ExpressVPN, you’ll benefit from military-grade encryption, super-fast speeds, and use on more than one device.

Good for Privacy. Faster & Stronger Connections!

The good thing about VPN One Click is its focus on privacy of users, users do not need to register with email or other personal details to use this VPN. Users can just download the app and start using it. No need to enter email address or anything. Second best thing that I liked about VPN One Click is its faster server connections, I could connect to any of the servers within 2-3 seconds by just tapping on the server name.

This is more of a fraud than a VPN service

I signed up back in 2016 for a week trial. It was not good and I thought no more about it. What I missed then and in the following two years is that I had agreed to $10 a year being taken from my Paypal account. My mistake for not realizing and I spotted it this year and tried to contact the company. They did reply and told me to log in and cancel. That would be easy enough but there is no log in option. It doesn't exist. No username, no password When challenged on this, they have gone quiet. No replies. I have told them I want to cancel, I have told paypal I want to cancel and I will have to wait for my subscription date to see if that happens. So if you want to pay forever join them. If you want a working VPN then go elsewhere. So the service as a VPN is below average but once you sign up, you are hooked and no help from the company. I didn't even want a refund but just to cancel the service and I have been at this every day for the last seven days.

Linux support has been removed, don't bother with this VPN supplier

Sadly, OneClickVpn no longer supports Linux (Debian). This omission is tragic as many of us have moved from windows, manly due to time wasted with system updates and it vulnerability issues. It was a good vpn on my previous linux PC but the Gods at vpnoneclick.com have decided to no longer offer a linux version as download. Thanks, I'll take my business elsewhere.
