CyberGhost is one of the most affordable VPNs on the market — you can get a subscription for as low as $2.03/month. I sometimes assume that price indicates quality, but with VPNs, I've been proven wrong before. So I wanted to see whether CyberGhost can really deliver at such a low price. I did a deep dive into CyberGhost’s privacy policy and security measures to determine whether it’s secu...

    Simple To Use

Great interface and is very intuitive. Many locations with reasonably fast speeds. There are a lot of ... essential features I like as well. Wireguard, Wifi Protect, Etc. I took out the 2-year plan at a fair discount so I can say that, given the price, it's a decent balance of quantity and quality.More

    Pretty good

CyberGhost does not connect automatically in pc when I connect online. Why? And on my phone (Android)...  it sometimes gets stuck, it does not open the app when vpn is working. I have to connect the VPN in my phone settings first. That is pretty annoying.More

You can tell from its name that Trust.Zone markets itself as a privacy-friendly VPN. While it doesn't log your data, there have been many complaints about “Trust Zone”. This includes reports of buggy apps and an inadequate refund policy. So, I performed extensive tests on all its features to see if it’s safe, fast, and trustworthy enough to try. After all my tests, I can't say Trust.Zone i...

6 years with TZ and no real complaints

What to say about Trust Zone? Well, for $39.95 for a year compared to the next 'recommended' VPN comp... any at more than double that I can't see a good reason to leave Trust Zone, at all! Issues - It's literally only been this year that I've been experiencing problems, support has always gotten back to me within about 48hrs, not on weekends or evenings, which could be a potential problem. However, I've always been able to follow their instructions and fixed any errors that have occurred, uninstalling and reinstalling are simple and I've found that fixed any seemingly annoying problem, and it doesn't take more than 5mins to do that! Sometimes (I used UK servers mostly, based there) the server can get a little slow, or seem to stop, but I just flick over to another UK server or Germany is another fave and no more problem for 99% of the time I've ever had any issues. Benefits - For the price Trust Zone VPN is 'IMHO' truly great value for money and the privacy and security could be no better from everything that I've read, even on here. I bought Nord VPN yesterday as I was getting connectivity issues and wanted to see if it was TZ, it wasn't and now I've got to wait a week for my refund from Nord VPN, I wasn't impressed at all and it wouldn't connect properly and my speeds were truly terrible! This was on the supposed fast server for what I was using, I couldn't use my fave 'app' shall we say, and when it did connect I didn't get more than just under 2mbps and I have over 70mbps on my line and that will be going to a Gig soon, can't wait! The UK is so far behind where I lived in S.E Asia for 17yrs, that it's almost laughable, but it isn't is it! 1st world England, I think not! Lulz. I hope that TZ can sort out their server maintenance and inform the users of when it's being done, or a symbol next to the server(s) would be a nice touch to let us know that it's being worked on, etc. All in all, from the abysmal Nord VPN experience I had yesterday, all evening trying to get it to work, paying more certainly doesn't mean better in my years of computer and internet experience, and most recently been proven right yet again! Last hint and tip, never connect to the internet without a VPN. Good luck out there all. Wendy.More

    Slow downloads, unreliable

It was very cheap, but the worst thing was it was unreliable, it would simply drop the connection when...  you least expected it. Suspiciously, about 2 months before my subscription expired I got an email - a great new update coming soon. They cut off my access to their service 10 days before my subscription expired - I found that really tacky. Moving on to another service.More

    Best VPN by Category

    Best VPN Overall

CyberGhost is our clear choice as the better VPN service, as it features 24/7 customer support via live chat, allows more simultaneous connections, and offers a much larger network. Yet in spite of its small network, Trust.Zone’s service is fairly reliable with essential security features.

    Best VPN for Torrents

CyberGhost offers very fast servers for torrenting and P2P file sharing and also features unlimited bandwidth. Trust.Zone also supports torrenting with unlimited traffic, but does not match CyberGhost’s speed.

    Best VPN for Windows

If you need a VPN for your PC with malware protection alongside 256-bit encryption, CyberGhost is the ideal choice. Although Trust.Zone’s Windows app comes with 256-bit encryption, it offers no malware protection.

    Best VPN for Android

A big advantage of CyberGhost for Android is that it offers users automatic WiFi protection and a 7-day free trial. Trust.Zone offers no dedicated Android app and as a result lacks the user-friendliness of CyberGhost. It can, however, be manually configured on android devices or integrated using the universal OpenVPN app.

    Best VPN for Mac

If you need a user-friendly VPN client for your Mac with tracking protection and DNS leak protection, CyberGhost is the right choice. Trust.Zone does not have a MacOS app, but still supports the OS and can be integrated into Macs using the Tunnelblick client, which is free.

    Best VPN for iOS

CyberGhost permits up to 7 simultaneous device connections and has a dedicated iOS app with access to all its 2,700+ servers. Although Trust.Zone does not offer an iOS app, it can be manually integrated using the L2TP/IPSec VPN protocol.

    Best VPN for USA

With hundreds of very fast US servers capable of unblocking Netflix, Hulu, HBO, and many more American websites and apps, CyberGhost offers truly exceptional service for the USA. Trust.Zone also offers some US servers capable of unblocking Netflix, but the unavailability of 24/7 customer support means that you might not have the help you need to locate such a server.

    The Bottom Line

Although Trust.Zone is also highly rated and offers a reliable, fast service, CyberGhost is our champion in this VPN service comparison for offering more features, dedicated apps for mobile, and 24/7 customer support with live chat. CyberGhost is very easy to install and has a user-friendly interface on all its apps. It combines all the essentials of a very secure VPN with amazing service and support. It’s no wonder CyberGhost has become known as one of the best VPNs on the market.
