Important. Ivacy VPN has merged with PureVPN, creating the new 'Ivacy Powered by PureVPN.' Existing Ivacy users won't lose any features as all clients have been automatically migrated to PureVPN. Ivacy is a long-running VPN with some of the cheapest subscriptions around. It also offers a popular free version and an extensive server network with many rare locations. But is it actually safe or trustw...

Not sure where all these negative thoughts come from.

Never had a problem connecting my desktop pooters with Ivacy. Had minor problem connecting my IOS devi... ce to my dedicated European IP but that was soon sorted. I daresay most of the negativity comes from the younger generation who have no patience. Staff at Ivacy who helped this 75yr old were awesome and ever helpful. Keep at it guys! I'd give them 9.5.More

    Terrible support

I was a customer 6 years ago. They still email me frequently, despite me unsubscribing many times and ... reaching out to their customer support 8+ times. If Ivacy can't get this right then I wouldn't trust any other promise that they make.More

After its security breach, many people aren't sure if they can trust Windscribe — one of the most popular free VPNs. If it couldn't protect its servers, can you really rely on it to keep you safe, especially without a subscription? I tested every feature Windscribe has, including performing leak tests and speed checks and testing it for torrenting, gaming, and more. I also thoroughly investiga...

    Windscribe = Unprofessional

If you are looking for a new synonym of the word unprofessional there you go you found it! Windscribe ... is not a company is just a joke that makes money from scamming people thinking they getting VPN services... Even after all these years they still do silly pranks on their supposedly customers by tricking them with a fake 1 year of free PRO service and days later telling it was just a joke as everything they do are for them... The only positive thing you can take from all of this is that if they can run a joke company and make money so can you... But will you still sleep at nights... That's up to you...More

    Best VPN by Category

    Best VPN Overall

With features like a NAT firewall, malware protection, and access to dedicated IP addresses, Ivacy offers a very robust VPN service overall. Windscribe also offers a reliable VPN service with a strong focus on innovative features like Split Personality and double-hop, which gives you access to two servers at once.

    Best VPN for Torrents

If you need dedicated servers optimized for torrenting anonymously at high speed, Ivacy’s the better choice for you. Windscribe also allows torrenting but does not offer dedicated servers.

    Best VPN for Windows

Ivacy’s Windows app is very easy to use, features split tunnelling, and protects you from tracking by your ISP or any other third party. Windscribe also has a dedicated Windows app that features wi-fi protection, ad blocking, and advanced leak protection to keep your online activity private.

    Best VPN for Android

Ivacy offers a dedicated Android app that provides access to its entire network worldwide and includes a Smart Purpose selection feature that chooses the ideal server for your current online activity. Meanwhile, Windscribe offers Android users a dedicated app with features like wi-fi protection, ad blocking, and time zone spoofing.

    Best VPN for Mac

Ivacy’s provision of a built-in NAT firewall and malware protection in its dedicated app makes it our recommended VPN choice for Mac users. Windscribe competes with its own MacOS app that also includes firewall protection and ad blocking.

    Best VPN for iOS

Ivacy offers an iOS app with a very sleek interface and dedicated profiles for every purpose including streaming, unblocking, and downloading. On the other hand, Windscribe’s iOS app has a very user-friendly design and includes a built-in firewall and a Split Personality function that makes it more difficult to link your online activity to you.

    Best VPN for USA

Ivacy provides a reliable service for bypassing US geoblocks from any location worldwide, seamlessly unblocking Netflix. If you need improved speed, you can purchase dedicated IPs from Ivacy. Windscribe also offers a very good service for the USA, with dedicated servers including Windflix connections that allow you to unblock Netflix and other US-based content providers with ease.

    The Bottom Line

While both VPNs offer a similar level of service in almost every area, Ivacy’s provision of a 30-day money-back guarantee and features like split tunnelling and advanced leak protection help it achieve a narrow win in this contest. In addition, by providing a Smart Purpose selection feature, Ivacy makes it easy to get the best server and settings for whatever online activity you’re engaged in. It is also worth noting that Ivacy offers true 24/7 live chat support. Windscribe’s apps also include a live chat channel, but it is staffed by bots. To interact with a human, you have to contact support via email.
