Imagine you’re standing on the edge of a world full of dinosaurs and deranged, dangerous daredevils. There is no way to turn back, so your only choice is to move forward. The best way? Without being seen! In effect, this is what VPN services have brought to the virtual world of encryption, offering ways of concealing your whereabouts and activities as you dodge through its bewildering landscape. Cyberghost VPN provides you with a Harry Potter-style cloak of invisibility so you can stealthily access information that someone, somewhere doesn’t want you to find. HMA VPN takes more of the secret agent approach to the wilderness of the worldwide web, disguising your location with more than a little cunning. BtGuard VPN is more simplistic – it’s like being smuggled across the border without anyone knowing where you’ve gone! Netflix compatibility continues to be rather hit and miss, with some users reporting problems with HMA VPN and others claiming that Cyberghost VPN is constantly updating to navigate the latest blocks. BtGuard VPN also has a pretty solid reputation in this regard, but is tarnished by negative rumours surrounding security and other features.

BTGuard is a small VPN and BitTorrent proxy provider that offers a scaled-back but secure service. Although they do offer a full VPN service, their main focus is providing security and anonymity for torrenting.
This is an okay choice for a VPN. However, we don't think 'okay' is enough. 'Okay' doesn't get past Netflix's geoblocks, either. For that, I'd recommend one of these vendors, which are guarante...
Works for me for yearsNot sure why seen so much bad feedback here. Using BTGuard for more than 8 years. I ran into problems about 3 times. Figured out it was a software upgrade. Following their setup instructions for PCs/Linux phones works.

Take The Money And Run!Used BTGuard for a few years with really no issues. However, I ran into an issue about a month ago. Have opened tickets through support and sales with no luck. I even tried calling them to no avail. I even informed my CC company and they can't seem to get in touch with them. I just want to inform people to not use BTGuard and hope this review helps someone in the future. -2 stars!
When I read that CyberGhost had been bought out by Kape — a company that used to be infamous for bundling adware into its downloads — alarm bells started ringing. I’ve recommended CyberGhost in the past as a trustworthy and easy-to-use VPN that suits beginners. But with its new ownership, I wondered if CyberGhost is even safe to use anymore
I did a deep dive into CyberGhost’s ownership...
Great and flexible VPNVery cost-effective, secure, and reliable VPN. Great speeds and choice of server locations for maximum privacy. Choice of pre-defined servers for specific requirements and optimized for specific streaming or download services. Would purchase again!

They tell me it is impossible for me to connect to UK Netflix!I've just been trying CyberGhost and had problems connecting to UK Netflix from where I am in South America. It just kept connecting to a different country, probably the US. When I asked their Support about it, I was told (and I have it in writing from a Chat) that to access UK Netflix from outside the UK, you MUST have a UK Netflix account! Can that possibly be true? I have never heard of that from any other VPN and I know NordVPN (so far) connects fine to UK Netflix with my local Netflix account.
HMA is a popular VPN provider with a large network of 1,100+ servers in 190+ countries.
Some of this VPN’s biggest strengths are its user-friendly interface, impressive speeds, and ability to bypass geoblocks (even Netflix's!)
It's newest update, HMA Version 5, includes new design features and an auto-generated diagnostics mode. Arguably the most impressive update is its Lightning-mode feat...
Working perfectI like this excellent service a lot. It is working absolutely perfect. I have been using it for a couple of weeks, in my PC, in my mobile and also in an Asus router.
It is easy to order and setup, no matter which device.

That's not trueThat's not true. You can see on their web page, that they don't store logs. Their recently announced no-log policy. And they are not USA based company, but from the UK. Can't tell more about the rest. Have a nice day.

BtGuard VPN does have its benefits, one of which is its agility when it comes to negotiating blockages in certain countries, such as China. But these benefits come at a cost, whereas Cyberghost has a free service which, while not up-to-speed compared to its paid package, isn’t half bad either. HMA doesn’t really do low cost or budget – just top-end service delivery at an acceptable price. HMA makes its competitors look like the butt of a joke, with its user-friendly interface and cheeky prowess.
Interestingly, if you compare HMA VPN with ShadeYou VPN, which is our top ranked vpn, you'll see that HMA VPN can learn a lot from ShadeYou VPN. Compare HMA VPN with ShadeYou VPN
