    I've been an ExpressVPN customer since 2017 and it's been great: quickly connects to a nearby server i... n the Wash DC region, embedded shortcuts to apps I want to use while using VPN, disconnects quickly, has the kill switch feature which is necessary these days, and has a fine mobile app which works well on my Android phones and tablets. However, I was just notified that the annual price is jumping from $99 to $117 upon the next renewal, so it's time to see how the others compare within VPN Mentor.More

    Ok, but expensive

    Seems ok, but I wouldn't say it's worth $20AUD a month. That's steep if you live in a backwater like A... ustralia, where the currency is not valuable. Easy enough to set up - you don't need to be Einstein - but unless you're a tech nerd who can take a look under the bonnet, you'll just have to trust what they say about their product. It frequently drops out without the slightest warning, often when it's the only thing online at the time - despite fast and flawless fiber internet, rendering expression entirely useless UNLESS you have it sitting on your desktop where you can keep an eagle eye on it to actually see it when it drops out so you can kick it back into service again (it doesn't do it by itself), which seems to defeat its purpose, so I'm taking away 2 stars for that. Support is good and they do get back to you as fast as they can.More

    VPNMaster is difficult to download, has slow customer service, and the speeds and encryption capabilities aren't that much better than free versions that are available.     A Free APN easy to use. The few adds are acceptable interesting and manageable. My junk Email has shrunk to zero

    I am an elder smartphone user. Smartphones are not easy to use. I understood a VPN is a safeguard. ...  Due to my circumstances. They must be free. I tried 2 others, junk mail and spam was unbearable. Since downloading "VPN MASTER" spam and junk Email have virtually gone (mastered). The only worry is it cuts out (like on a timer) and has to be reset. More

    Garbage. Servers always down, missing or slow as crap

    Enough said. You are better off using the free version because the paid subscription for "VIP" access ... is no good. Servers have been down the past 2 days and who the heck knows what happened to their US servers. I can't use any of my apps or services routing through any other server other than the one based in the US which negates the purpose. Don't waste your hard earned cash on this service.More

It also works great for streaming, and I always had buffer-free HD streams. All the videos I watched loaded almost immediately without issues. When it comes to security, ExpressVPN is as safe as it gets. Its military-grade encryption and private DNS servers helped it pass all of my leak tests. On top of that, it has a strict no-logs policy and is headquartered in the privacy-friendly British Virgin Islands. The policy has also been audited, so you know it's trustworthy. The only negative is that it’s slightly more expensive than some other VPNs out there. However, considering its performance and the wealth of features it offers, it’s definitely worth it.
