It’s rare that anything is free these days and, usually, those that are - are generally worthless, which is why Opera VPN is such a surprise! With VPN service providers prolife rating at a rapid rate, it is difficult to stay on top of which is the best value for money and, while Opera VPN can’t compete with the big boys, they still give it horns. Mullvad is also a fan of horns, with their interface dominated by a cartoon Viking, which makes it fun, unlike PIA VPN whose interface is so simple it’s almost blank. The difference with PIA is that simple is smart and behind that blank screen there is a vast pool of sophisticated features. One of Mullvad’s advantages is its location – Swedish lack of censorship and the fact that the European Union Data Retention Directive does not apply to them gives Mullvad a head-start over rivals in the EU or USA.

Private Internet Access has one of the cheapest VPN subscriptions available — you can sign up for as little as $2.03/month. With such a low price, I wondered whether PIA could really stand out against its higher-priced competitors. It’s been around for 10+ years, so it could be one of the best-value VPNs out there. I decided to find out just how good it is by looking into the company’s lo...

Best VPN Out on The Market

I like PIA VPN the best for the following reasons: ● It's a reliable and trustworthy policy; they don... 't record anything harmful to you; strict no logs. ● I've been using it for one month and there are specific times when it speeds up my internet speed (varies by internet) ● It's a distinctive feature of DIP (dedicated IP) - I think not many popular VPNs have this feature, I also purchased this feature to avoid getting the captcha verification and it never showed up ever since. It's only been a month using this VPN but as I gain more experience with this client, I'm pretty sure I will find more good features and utilize them. Thanks for having read my review:)More

OperaVPN once had different versions; a web-browser VPN and a mobile app. The Opera mobile app, which was available for Android and iOS, is no longer active (read more about it below), but there are a few good free alternatives, such as TunnelBear and Windscribe.  Opera's free web-browser with a built-in VPN, however, is still up and running. Unfortunately, that isn't much of a consolation....

Opera uses Google servers

I installed Opera a couple of years ago because of its included VPN. I wanted to get away from being ... tracked everywhere by Google. However, when I discovered that the Opera VPN was using Google servers, that idea went out the window. I stopped using the Opera VPN feature and went with a different VPN provider.More

Mullvad VPN has been popular among privacy buffs for some time now, but I’ve always wondered about its other features. Does it offer good value for your money? To find out, I tested its mobile and desktop apps and did some thorough research on its features. From this, it’s clear that Mullvad VPN offers more than privacy and has strong security features — it isn’t far behind the premium...

Excellent security and I have found it very easy to install and use.

As of 2021, I have found the app easy to use, and using windows 10 the split tunnel feature works well... . It is easy to avoid problems with services that need to know my identity for account information while maintaining secure connections for all other uses. I would highly recommend Mullvad VPN for all but the most tech-phobic users.More

Dishonest & Greedy

When I send a payment to cover a certain number of months, I usually get less than that. They tend to ... subtract a week or more from these months. This is a rip-off, greedy thieves! Unfortunately, I lost trust in them. Hopefully, they'll change these tactics so that they can regain our trust. Nobody wants to be scammed or ripped off. We trust people who are honest.More

Overall, Mullvad is small but clever, Opera is big and loud and PIA VPN is a robust tool that promises a safe haven to internet users who wish to conceal their personal information from government agencies, hackers and publicists. Opera VPN is free, but doesn’t allow any torrenting, while PIA VPN is competitively priced, offers limited torrenting and enables the user to specify their VPN access configuration using the range of preferences available. PIA’s superior level of sophistication and competitive pricing ensures its success in this comparison.
