When it comes to providing online privacy and anonymity, Betternet, VPN Master and Super VPN all do the job, albeit in distinctively different ways. For starters, Betternet is a free service, while its two competitors are markedly expensive. You get what you pay for and unsurprisingly, Betternet’s slow connection speed is almost at par with VPN Master’s, yet completely outpaced by SuperVPN. Unreliable customer support from Betternet and VPN Master can serve a blow even to the best features of these two clients. With shifty speed and encryption levels and servers limited to only 14 countries, forget about accessing Netflix with VPN Master. VPN Master does, however, allow bitcoin payments. Although all three VPNs work seamlessly on major OPs, SuperVPN can be used on up to three devices and offers an account with a China-dedicated IP address. All three clients noticeably lack kill switch and a robust no-logging policy.

Betternet is a popular free VPN, but it’s been involved in several controversies. In 2016, a team of researchers caught Betternet embedding malware and tracking libraries in their VPN apps. So, is this VPN actually safe, and can you trust it with your personal information? To remove any doubts, I extensively tested its security and privacy features. I also thoroughly explored its speeds, gam...

    Good App

Absolutely free VPN. BTW just click the exit button to close the free-trial box. It will continue to r... un without it. I don't experience any ads that I am aware of but I have an ad-blocker and a no-script installed on my browser which may account for that. I get a better connection on public WiFi generally. Their Terms and Conditions state they do not keep log files of your actual IP address or sites accessed; and they do not sell your information for money. They are supposed to be paid by premium accounts and the ads generated which, like I previously stated I haven't really seen much of. Lastly, they allow p2p and torrenting, though they will collect your data if they get subpoenaed to for illegal downloads. Overall, excellent VPN app in my opinion.More

VPNMaster is difficult to download, has slow customer service, and the speeds and encryption capabilities aren't that much better than free versions that are available. VPNMaster is hardly a premium service, but only available at a premium cost. I honestly can't understand what would prompt a person to choose VPNMaster. That also means it definitely can't unblock Netflix on any of it's servers, or a...

A Free APN easy to use. The few adds are acceptable interesting and manageable. My junk Email has shrunk to zero

I am an elder smartphone user. Smartphones are not easy to use. I understood a VPN is a safeguard. ...  Due to my circumstances. They must be free. I tried 2 others, junk mail and spam was unbearable. Since downloading "VPN MASTER" spam and junk Email have virtually gone (mastered). The only worry is it cuts out (like on a timer) and has to be reset. More

Garbage. Servers always down, missing or slow as crap

Enough said. You are better off using the free version because the paid subscription for "VIP" access ... is no good. Servers have been down the past 2 days and who the heck knows what happened to their US servers. I can't use any of my apps or services routing through any other server other than the one based in the US which negates the purpose. Don't waste your hard earned cash on this service.More

    The Bottom Line

In addition to the 128-bit encryption industry standard, the client offers a military grade, 4096 bit encryption on SSL protocol for access to live streaming services, online gaming and VoIP. With its torrent plan, SuperVPN allows users free access to torrent downloads, all protected with SSL protocol. Although relatively expensive, users do get value for their money with reliable customer support, dependable speeds and fortified anonymous browsing.
