Comparing NordVPN and blackVPN provides you with a good look at an established VPN leader going up against a promising underdog. Both options are well-known for protecting your privacy and using leading encryption to avoid logs, leaks, and other data collection. NordVPN retains its top VPN ranking because it is feature-rich, reliable, secure, and gets past the most robust geoblocking efforts. NordVPN's pricing is also hard to beat. blackVPN can still claim its place among the fastest and most reliable VPNs thanks to connections of up to 1Gbps and support for a variety of devices, as well as specialty VPN routers designed for TVs, global usage, and more. Unfortunately, some users are experiencing slower connections lately. It’s also a pricer option and you’ll likely want to upgrade to its premium packages because they’re needed to get around Netflix’s geo-restrictions. Each service gives you a limited money-back guarantee, giving you a chance to try them out. Read the rest of this review to determine which option is right for you.

On the surface, NordVPN looks like a really impressive service. It claims to have a huge global server network, a speedy and reliable connection, and iron-clad security and privacy features. Plus, you can get it all for just $3.09/month. That all sounds great, but is there a catch? To find out, I did an in-depth analysis of NordVPN. I tested its speeds and how well it performs when you’re str...

    The Best of The Best

I simply tested all VPNs looking for cutting-edge online security, I tested the most expensive and the...  most talked about virtual anonymity, none made me as happy as NordVPN, it stands out for several reasons that the much more expensive ones it doesn't have, its double encryption, dedicated IPs, onion VPN, makes NordVPN unique, with almost 6,000 servers around the world and 12 million customers like me, you can see that NordVPN is not playing games with its customers and their online security , it always innovates to keep you more secure day after day, for a fair price in the long term and without sacrificing the speed of your connection, recently Nord is developing a new VPN protocol, Nordlynx a version still under construction derived from the Wireguard protocol, if you want to have a VPN of last security that think how it will make you more secure in the next month NordVPN is the right choice, I am completely thankful for being a customer and for finding what to me is the perfect VPN.More

    BUYER BEWARE!

BUYER BEWARE! If you purchase NordVPN, it will throttle your interned speed/connectivity by 50%, like ... it did to mine. I pay $100/month to get speeds of nearly 600mbs. With NordVPN turned on, my speeds decrease to 250mbs. Nord’s “customer support” is useless and unprofessional, and, after nearly 3 weeks of endless “try this, try that”, they were unable to resolve the issue and blamed it on everything under the sun except their product, when it is OBVIOUS that, since I have zero speed issues with Nord turned off, and ONLY experience the issues with Nord turned on, it is NordVPN that is causing the issue. When I asked them for a refund of my one year subscription paid in advance and in good faith, they refused, and have now decided to ignore me. So, YOU’VE BEEN WARNED. Their VPN will devastate your internet speeds, their “support” is ridiculous, they are in denial, and they will not refund your money, even if their product is a failure…More

When you are looking for a VPN service, you want quality, security, and features. BlackVPN, which is based out of Kowloon, Hong Kong, is able to offer all of those things and more, making it a good choice for many out there in need of a trustworthy VPN. They’ve’ been rated as one of the most reliable and fastest VPN services, and they have 100Mbit and 1000Mbit connections, alongside premium v...

    Got scammed by them

As already said by others in recent reviews, they do not respond to your messages. They are scamming u... sers. I already paid for a year but I received no login information and the "send username" function has broken down. I paid for a full year but I ended up with really nothing. I will now try to get the money refunded by the payment provider that they use, I really regret not using my credit card with insurance for this particular purchase.More

    Best VPN by Category

    Best VPN Overall

NordVPN is among the best VPNs in most categories with more than 5,000 servers, the ability to work in China, 2048-bit encryption, and DNS leak protection. blackVPN has mixed customer service response times, but that's the only significant claim against the offering that users say is for the most part, fast, reliable, and very secure.

    Best VPN for Torrents

NordVPN has its own set of designated P2P servers that reach torrent sites across the globe, and it supports up to six devices simultaneously on a single account. blackVPN allows torrenting, but there are limitations on its US and UK servers, where it blocks P2P as well as some torrent sites, which it says is to protect users from litigation.

    Best VPN for Windows

The Windows app for NordVPN supports double encryption and automatic kill switches as well as built-in protection against botnets, malware, and ads. The native windows client for blackVPN is robust and pairs AES 256-bit data encryption with a NAT firewall and rekeying every 30 minutes.

    Best VPN for Android

NordVPN's Android app is a low-cost way to browse, watch your favorite shows from anywhere, and connect to more than 5,000 servers with negligible risk. You can get a free 3-day trial with the blackVPN Android app to try out the service, which users say is very fast.

    Best VPN for Mac

Your favorite MacOS devices are supported by NordVPN, and the ability to run the VPN on a router means you can use them how you want, up to six at a time. blackVPN offers a logs-free, fast Mac client and supports up to three devices at the same time and each can connect to different servers so you can have machines for torrenting, streaming, and other activities.

    Best VPN for iOS

High-speeds with servers in more than 60 countries and 2048-bit encryption make NordVPN a smart, seamless option for iOS devices like your iPhone, iPad, and Mac. blackVPN doesn't have an approved app yet, so the service requires you to email the company's support and join a beta-app testing service to use the VPN. Reviews say it provides a quality service.

    Best VPN for USA

NordVPN is a strong player in the US market because it keeps your data and connection safe at all times while delivering access to Netflix, HBO, Hulu, and other top US services at a low price. With servers in the East, West, and Central US, blackVPN also offers a quick and reliable service to avoid geoblocks for your favorite US content.

    The Bottom Line

These two VPNs offer reliable services and features, but NordVPN may be an overall winner because of its pricing options, larger server network, and the ability to test the service for 30 days, risk-free. NordVPN is always a popular choice thanks to compelling features, easy-to-use apps, access to some of the best content in the world, military-grade security, and the ability to work in China. Despite rumors from 2018, NordVPN maintains a strict no-logging policy. blackVPN offers a variety of price options, works with Tor, includes quick speeds, robust encryption, and doesn’t track you. The only strikes against it come from poor connection speeds, above average prices, and some server activity restrictions, which may get in the way of enjoyment because it has fewer than 30 servers currently.
