ExpressVPN is one of the safest, fastest VPNs around, but the one drawback has always been the price. It often offers discounts that make it more affordable, but there are other decent VPNs offering similar security features for much cheaper. So, do you really need to pay so much for a VPN as good as ExpressVPN? To find the answer, I performed extensive tests on desktop and mobile devices run...

    Fantastic VPN

I have just started using ExpressVPN and I must say that I was very impressed by how user-friendly it ... was and how easy it was to set up on the different devices I have at home. I also tested their customer service with chat and they were quick to respond and I got good help. I can recommend this productMore

CryptoStorm is a VPN service that understands just how much your privacy means to you, and they’ve been striving to provide their customers with the very best unlimited use VPN in the business. We’ve tested the system and found it to be one of the top options out there for what they promise. However, Cryptostorm cannot unblock Netflix. If you're looking for a VPN for streaming, ExpressVPN is ...

CS is my VPN of choice

I have been a subscriber to CryptoStorm service for a couple of years now, and I don't have a single b... ad word to say about it. The privacy is paramount, and CryptoStorm delivers. The setup is easy (minus the advanced techie level help section/instructions - definitely too much for a regular user), the token simple to swap, and the application runs seamlessly and reliably. The subscription to token(s) is very reasonably priced considering the level of privacy the user gets, which the company takes very seriously. As a retired IT and a former guest writer for About.com, I have tested many VPNs, but always came back to CryptoStorm. It is simply the best in my opinion.More

    Horrible Support and Doesn't Work

Won't be wasting $52 when the year ends. After using cryptofree for 2 years, it stopped working - thei... r support claimed the DC decommissioned the server. So I purchased their paid service - it didn't work behind the Secure Folder on my Android which was where I was intending to use it (and had been using their cryptofree server with absolutely zero trouble). Contacted support again and this was their response word for word: "DNS issue? Rather a topic for an android forum." Insolence. Rude, rude, rude, rude, and very typical of Icelandic customer service. Funny how I can use the free ProtonVPN and their FREE cryptofree version with any "DNS issues". I wasted USD$52 on their ridiculous service. First and last time they'll be getting any $$ from me.More

    The Bottom Line

Final Verdict — Super Reliable, Top Speeds, and Excellent Security Make it Worth the Price ExpressVPN is by far the fastest and most reliable VPN I’ve ever used. Some of its long-distance servers even increased my speeds and I always had buffer-free HD streams. It’s also extremely reliable for unblocking streaming platforms. Every single one I tested loaded up almost immediately without issues. When it comes to security, ExpressVPN is tough to beat, too. Its military-grade encryption and private DNS servers helped it pass all of my leak tests. On top of that, it has a strict no-logs policy and is headquartered in the privacy-friendly British Virgin Islands. This makes it a VPN service I trust to handle my data. The only slight negative I found was that it doesn’t come with an ad blocker, which many other top VPNs have. However, this isn’t a big deal since there are
