Being on the market for more than 15 years, the UK-based HMA has established an excellent name for itself (literally). But, is HMA really worth a shot when there are so many other high quality VPNs out there? To find out, I performed extensive tests on its speeds, security, unblocking abilities, and more. I also explored its no-logs policy and money-back guarantee to see how trustworthy it is....

    Excellent value for money!

First, it's a full VPN. Very intuitive and easy app. Lots of connection options and without much loss ... of speed. The official website has the payment method in my local currency, with a localized value and thus leaving a fair value through the VPN. Thank VPNMentor for the product recommendation and targeted discount.More

Great VPN, costs only $1.60/month with 3 year package

I really like this VPN service. It is really easy to use and the speeds are usually always as fast as ... my Internet connection. The only things I don't like are the lack of a Windows desktop app (the site says coming soon but its been several years now), and that the Firefox extension no longer works. Also the Android app can be a little buggy and the speeds are slower than on the browser extension. But overall it's a great VPN service, especially considering the price (only $1.60 per month if you purchase the 3 year premium package!)More

Final Verdict HMA is a decent VPN overall. It’s secure and easy to use, and it has server locations around the world. That said, improvements can definitely be made. The VPN would benefit from working on its speeds, unblocking abilities, and its customer support offering. Despite these imperfections, I had a great experience with HMA and would definitely use it again. Consistently unblocks Netflix Allows 5-10 simultaneous device connections Offers web proxy extensions for Chrome and Firefox Has very easy-to-use and organized apps Offers a 7-day free trial and a 30-day money-back guarantee Has over 20 payment methods available FAQs on HMA Is HMA safe? Yes, HMA is safe to use. It has an audited no-logs policy by a cybersecurity company called VerSprite. The contents of this audit prove that the company is trustworthy and backs its claims.
