Best VPNs for USA | ![]() |
![]() |
Buffered VPN has 30+ servers in a total of 40+ countries including USA, whereas hide.me has 150+ servers in 30+ countries including USA. On the other hand, HideMyAss has a larger network of 190+ servers in the US alone. In addition, unlike its two rivals, HideMyAss gives you better chances at unblocking geo-restricted services in the US including Netflix and Hulu.

So far, Hide.me hasn’t had a look-in in this comparison which is unfair, as it is a solid, dependable client with some add-ons that Buffered VPN lacks, like a kill switch and a 'Limit Connectivity' feature. Malaysian-based Hide.me is also vociferous in its no-logging policy and its location makes it even safer. Nevertheless, Hide.me looks like a bit of an ass when compared to the others, with HideMyAss’s racehorse pedigree sneaking in front of Buffered with its length of experience and competitive pricing.
Interestingly, if you compare HideMyAss! VPN with NordVPN, which is our top ranked vpn, you'll see that HideMyAss! VPN can learn a lot from NordVPN. Compare HideMyAss! VPN with NordVPN

I considered a number of VPN's before going with Buffered which I find excellent.
No issues in any aspect, On the rare occasions that I required assistance (in the initial set up stage), the Help Desk was outstanding. Would highly recommend Buffered to anyone considering using a VPN
Superb
I am using Hideme since last 2.5 years. In my view its one of the best VPN service provider. Their service and customer support both are very fast. Never faced any kind of serious issue and if it happened, it was resolved within 24 hours. Rates are also very economical in return of the value.
Working perfect
I like this excellent service a lot. It is working absolutely perfect. I have been using it for a couple of weeks, in my PC, in my mobile and also in an Asus router. It is easy to order and setup, no matter which device.

Scam scam scam.
I tried to create an account. Declined. Tried again. Declined. Checked my bank and my card was frozen from suspicious activity from their website, obviously I did do this, so unfroze it. Now I’m charged twice, and my account was never made so they are telling me I can’t get my money back. At this point they ask me for a screenshot of the charges... uh okay, with my bank info? So I screenshot and there’s FOUR charges, but “no way to get my money back” finally I get so angry she “finds a way” and so far only two have been reimbursed. Yeah, only sign up if your ready to be stolen from!! I understand how I was charged twice, but not four times. If they insist you have to have an account to bring up that info I should have never been charged in the first place!
Doesn't Offer Free American Server
There is no way to try this product without a free American server. Clearly, the developers decided to take a gun and shoot themselves in the foot here. Wouldn't recommend to anyone. I did try the trial through the Canadian server and even then speeds were slow. There are plenty of other products that offer free American servers, and I definitely recommend trialling a VPN before paying anything to the developers. A clear let down.
Definitely not recommended
HMA has helped several times in the past to identify individual users for the judiciary through corresponding logs. HMA has completely failed. A VPN provider that is able to identify individual users specifically in their usage behavior is extremely bad.
